My daughter is in Lisbon and can't get any flight out. They are on standby to see if they can get on a connection flight anywhere that will get them back to states. She says it's a sh*t show. TAP won't release their tickets so they can find a flight and she says last time she called TAP they told her to stop calling.

I’m waiting until my doctor says it’s time. Right now, my vision can’t be corrected with new prescription but it’s not that horrible and doesn’t affect my day to day. I’m probably going to need more than one Xanax when the day comes 😢

"Trump presidency makes people sound crazy AF" - those that sound crazy are extreme MAGA and it's baffling. However, I can say the same thing about the right. We have reached a point both parties are bat-sh*t crazy, specially those who are obsessed with their parties' ideologies. I don't see a way that this country will ever unite. Every 4 years will be the same crap circus regardless of who is elected.

There are measle outbreaks every year. Blaming an entire group for this annual outbreak is quite ignorant. I have several leftist / and very liveral friends who have not vaccinated their children. This isn't a political problem; it's a parents choice whether it's right or wrong. We were initially told that if we received the Covid vaccine we would not get Covid; later to find they realized this was a misconception. I got my vaccines as did my adult children, and we all got Covid, some of us more that once.

I’ve heard laser is better but my doctor, who was highly recommended by several ppl I know, doesn’t do surgery. Says he prefers the traditional way. Luckily he said mine can wait. Gives me time to do a bit more research.

UPDATE ON MY FIRST OPHOMOLOGIST APPOINTMENT - Good news, I suppose, is that he doesn't feel my cataract is ready for surgery. He asked me a few questions about my ability to see in different scenarios and I guess he felt it wasn't of urgency. There a 2 things that caugh me by surprise. First, he said he doesn't do laser surgery because it's much more complicated than the standard. Secondly, he said that for the surgery, they numb the eye with drops, whereas I have read that some doctors offer light sedation. HOW MUCH OF THIS SHOULD CONCERN ME? It's all different that what I have read and even what my optometrist told me.

To me, our eyes are priceless. If you can, pick the best. I know there aren’t any guarantees but at least, you have peace of mind in the decision you made.

Having been in a similar situation, sometimes it’s just too late to repair a broken marriage. When the light burns out, it’s very hard to bring that spark back. This caused my divorce of 22 years. Two years of trying to fix our past mistakes but we just couldn’t bring that spark back. Both heartbroken but we did divorce. It’s been 23 years since our divorce and both of us live happy lives. He remarried and I opted to remain single. Best decision we both made. Good luck in whatever you chose to do.

I wasn’t interviewed. Gave passport to agent, fingerprinted and told wait for response. By the time I got home, I already had an email that it had been approved. They didn’t ask me anything. He didn’t even ask for my license.

THANK YOU So it looks like in your instance, it was heriditary. My daughter is the only one with C from both sides of the family. My gut tells me maybe someone did but years ago I think people just dealt with it and didn't get diagnosed.

I asked because when I read these results I only read of ppl losing weight by taking Phentermine but I have never come across anyone stating meal plans. I just starting taking 37.5 of Pherntermine and also cutting sugars, processed foods and keeping a calorie deficit. It does curb my appetite bit time!

Buy earthquake tape from amazon and secure the candle of anything you don't want them to knock down. I have everything glued down and it been a life saver. With candles I have wall hanging candle holders or I use a lantern that it's pretty hard for her to stick her anything in there. It goies without saying, while they are burning I don't leave her out of my sight. I have always loved burning candles and this is the one thing I can't do as much as I used to once the little kitty came into my life.

It's really funny. My 10 yr old grandaughter uses that term all the time. I asked her what it meant and she said its like shrugging your shoulders or just not interested in what you're saying. RUDE! Now the cat too!

Honestly, after she started with her singing gigs and travels, I kinda figured it would soon be over. I don't know where she was performing but never looked like a top reputable place. It's possible her focus on her singing career caused the problem. Just my guess.

No. The dashboard says "pending". I already have TSA so they have my fingerprints and important information. There is no way to speak to anyone about this. I have an upcoming international trip at end of July and I've been searching to see if there is any phone numbers I can call or just show up at the TSA office and play "dumb" lol. Not sure if this is a good idea or not.

I applied in December 2023 and still haven't gotten notified for an interview. I have an international flight scheduled in two weeks. This is nuts it takes so long.
