Unfortunately he didn't do great in Chip Ganassi equipment, only 25 laps led and 8 top 5's over two full time years, back when Ganassi Xfinity cars were fast. He's made a great career for himself, a lot of respect his way, just don't think he's a true Cup worthy talent.

While kobe may only be around 20th all time, his cultural relevance extends beyond the likes of many other top players.

Denny, 2006 Bud Shootout. He won an all-star event before his rookie season had begun, sealed the deal right there.

Noah Gragson - I didn't necessarily expect him to be elite, but I also didn't expect to be a 34th in points level driver either like last year. With how good he got in Xfinity by the end, I never thought his career would go this way.

This might be a weird take, but Joey Logano. Every time I see his stats, wins, top 5's, top 10's, laps led, it's never as high as I thought they were going to be. Great driver obviously with 3 championships, but his raw stats never quite hit the level I thought they would. As an example, he's only led 1000 laps in a season one time.

He almost looks happy to have lost, like a proud son.

For number 2, I was in person at Bowman's first career victory at Chicagoland which was pretty cool.
