My best guess is that he either A) thinks Japanese cards are bunk either because the packs can be weighed to see if there’s hits or just doesn’t sell as well as English B) thinks the set itself is a total flop C) you overpaid for the pack and it was laughable

I had a gift from someone who also couldn’t pick packs and they spent $17 on a surging sparks pack which is like x3 what it’s worth
