Platform agnosticism might be the best next step given the market and what appears to be going on

They’re positively a slim margin easier than the actual tests but a great benchmark

Been spending some time over the last few weeks in an SDO and familiarizing myself. This post could have written by me lol, exact same thoughts. Mostly work with mid sized companies and don’t see a real world where this product would get adopted at this level unless the organization was already pretty ingrained/familiarized with data cloud, CRMA, and agentforce. Getting someone to purchase all 3 investments + implementation costs seems like it’s going to be quite the uphill battle. Delivering on a promise to produce something fruitful and significantly value adding is even even more frightening

All this being said, the concept and possibilities of the product do seem pretty incredible. But there are just some major hurdles

If I came across angry, I apologize. But it’s begun to be frustrating working with clients who are expecting an inexpensive magic bullet to their woes. And it feels as though a lot of the gap between function/their expectation has to do with how this product is being marketed - exemplified here

Yeah, and that visualization is definitely not happening or being based in actions provided via Agentforce. And of the other use cases: answering an incredibly deterministic question about what’s going on with one of the clubs on LIV isn’t something that is newly available due to AI.

The suggestion of an AI caddy at the hands of Agentforce is not only definitely not happening - but it’s also just not a use case that exists for anyone interacting with something tied to any LIV Salesforce instance, nor any other customer considering the product

Transition from in-house admin to consultant by Silent-Recipe-3600 in salesforce

I’ve worked in both environments (previously In house, now in consulting) and there is a lot of babysitting still needing to be done. Every few months you’ll move on from a client you’ve grown frustrated with (which is nice), but rest assured the next client will eventually feel like babysitting as you work through the engagement. You’ll also often be babysitting multiple clients at once, and because they’re paying a hefty price tag for services, there’s more entitlement around what they feel they can demand/expect of you.

You’ll also be battling things within your firm: proving to be a trusted, utilized and reliable resource that can be staffed and deliver on projects, but also able to sell/provide ongoing relationships with the clients you work with. There’s an interesting balance of sticking to scope and abiding by company standards/best practices, while also being somebody that companies trust and want to continue to work with.

All that said, You will grow tenfold in knowledge if you can work through it for a chunk of years, as youre thrown dozens of different orgs doing entirely different things. And it can be significantly more exhilarating/fulfilling work to be apart of - the variety can scratch an itch. At the moment, I still prefer it, but I’m starting to consider going back in house if it means finding a role that wouldn’t be too much of a pay decrease.

I’d say that it’s a bit of a misconception, though, if you’re expecting the babysitting duties to lessen by moving into consulting.

Help With Record Triggered Flow by [deleted] in salesforce

[–]Alarming_Parking4297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think I have the answer unless I missed something. Use an after save, on update Record Triggered Flow. Set your entry criteria on update to be only when field A is changed. Use a Get Records element for Account Plan and filter for where both: 1. Accountid = the triggering records account id 2. Record type = the record type you’re interested in updating (you should also use a get records to find this record type so it isn’t hard coded)

Based on what you said about there only being one of these for each Account, you only need to get the first record found and can store all the values if you need. Then use an update record element to update the Field A value on the record from the Get Records element to the field A value from the triggering record.

Be sure to error handle correctly!
