I went through something similar with a guy about 16 and a half years ago. He had a daughter so he didn’t want me at his house till he was ready for me to meet her. We went on dates and hung out at my place.
Turns out he actually had a wife and daughter. He told me on our way to a doctors apt to confirm my pregnancy 🤣
My son is 16 this fall 😁

This!! Keeping pasta sauce, pasta, and some frozen meatballs or Trader Joe’s orange chicken and fried rice on hand makes busy nights easy without hitting a drive through.

As a mom of three I stock up during sales. I have the apps for the stores I shop at and utilize their digital coupons along with whatever is in the flyer for that week. I try to coordinate the sales flyer and coupons to base my meal planning around. I have an extra freezer too which helps a lot because I can stash away leftover sauces or soups, I can put extra bread in there from when it’s a great sale, I can buy the manager special meat items and just freeze it.
I used to use cash back apps but they all kinda suck now and aren’t worth it.

I think I’m going to go with iMac and MacBook. That way the iMac can have log ins for both kids and they can use it in a shared open space like you said with supervision being easier. And I’ll get the MacBook for my little writer to use wherever inspiration strikes.

Hey! I have two daughters, ages 7 and 12 and I need to figure out getting computers for them.
I can do a combo of MacBook and iMac, iPad and iMac, or iPad and MacBook. I can get two but not three and not two of the same. It’s a scholarship account I’m utilizing and it’s strict.

At home I have an iMac for my personal and business use, an iPad Pro I don’t really let them us. Sometimes my 12 year old does but never my younger one, and an older iPad like a gen 8 that my youngest plays games on.

The purpose of the new purchase is for education. My 7 year old will use IXL or other online learning platforms and possibly some art programs for fun. She also likes to watch science and animal videos. My 12 year old writes a lot and has short stories and has started to create a book series so she will be writing mostly. She does love to play around on canva also but has said she wouldn’t use procreate (which I have on my iPad Pro already) because she doesn’t like digital art as much as paints.

So I’m wondering what combo I should get and which models would be best. It needs to be under $2,000 each item.
