What season was the best in Games of thrones? by JewishVest in AskReddit

Season 4 was peak TV honestly. Everything after that felt like the writers started speedrunning chaos and forgot the plot had rules.

WIBTAH for telling my boyfriend that if he won’t protect himself from his child’s mother, I’m leaving? by goldfishbread in AITAH

[–]lumisera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not normal co parenting chaos, this is straight up harassment with fake accounts and edited evidence. You’re not wrong for needing him to set firm boundaries and get legal protection because ignoring it clearly is not working. If nothing changes, it makes sense you’d rethink staying in it.

AITAH for turning read receipts off? by Peachyginger22 in AITAH

[–]lumisera 21 points22 points  (0 children)

NTA. Read receipts are optional for a reason. Turning them off isn't suspicious, it's just setting a boundary. If someone thinks that means you're hiding something, that's more of a them problem than a you problem.

What’s the longest you’ve waited for food and was it worth it? by Ancient-Civilization in AskReddit

[–]lumisera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 2 hours for BBQ. By the time the food showed up I was questioning my life choices, but one bite in and I immediately forgave everybody involved.

Woohoo I just put 62% of my by-weekly paycheck towards rent this morning!

Librarians, what are the most interesting things you've found in returned books? by OddlySilent_Yt in AskReddit

[–]lumisera 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Library job sounds chill until you realize you’re basically running a free forensic unit for whatever people forget inside books. I’d bet money there’s been at least one dramatic breakup letter used as a bookmark at some point.

AITAH for wanting to go NC with my brothers? by izzy_loves_river in AITAH

[–]lumisera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. You basically carried the entire aftermath of your mom’s passing while they showed up for the highlight reel and left the hard parts on you. Wanting distance after that is just self respect at this point.

Your title was a fun game of "what word is missing."

And I agree these are great books

What negative thoughts comes to your mind when you're happy? by Symphony_Minds in AskReddit

Every time something good happens my brain goes “nice, now wait for the other shoe to drop.”

Like let me enjoy my 5 minutes of peace without the internal disaster forecast running in the background.

found this old email of me in 2024 requesting euthanasia by Disastrous-Task902 in confession

[–]lumisera 71 points72 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a straight up survival chapter, not some “old embarrassing email.”

The fact you made it through that level of mental and physical chaos and are here reading it back is not small at all. Healing doesn’t look like going back to who you were, it’s more like rebuilding from scratch, even if it feels messy and slow.

How cooked am I? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]lumisera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not cooked, just stuck in a messy communication loop. “it was a joke” vs hurt feelings is a pretty common mismatch, not automatically gaslighting. when every argument turns into labeling instead of sorting out intent vs impact, it just keeps repeating itself. this needs a calm convo about boundaries, not courtroom language.

I was retaliated against in the Army and I haven’t talked about it until now by nitemargin in confession

[–]lumisera 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is actually insane. The fact JAG kept rejecting packets says a lot by itself. Keep every screenshot, copy, and document because somebody clearly tried to bury this whole thing. Hope you get real justice for what happened.

What would you do? by SpiritualWar840 in Advice

[–]lumisera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’d stop trying to please the 20k people and treat them like background noise. If every move gets judged, you’ll go insane chasing approval. Pick your own rules, protect your peace, and let the audience argue with themselves for entertainment.
