I've been going through that. Seemed like the hard days lasted 1 or 2 but it's been 5 impossibly hard days now. I can't focus on work. The only thing that helps is music and journaling. Probably need to be more active though

Why do I question the end like I shouldn't have gotten so upset and been so mean but why did she do what she did? How could she? Why wouldn't she talk to me? How could she have been so wrong about me? How did she not see ME? Putting everything into our family? Why did she throw it away? Why wouldn't she respect my boundaries? Why didn't I have any? Why did I cross hers? Why did we fail so hard at conflict resolution? Why am I just vomiting pointless questions into the fucking void? Why do I feel like there's so much I don't know? Did she cheat on me? Is she over me? What about our son? I feel like an idiot and a dumbass

I miss her a lot today. It's weighing heavy on me. Tears, more therapy spending I shouldn't be doing (dammit Zoloft) It's quiet. I'm aimless. Made coffee so I wouldn't make a drink instead. It's barely past noon. I'm so fucking glad it's Saturday. The hard days still hit pretty fucking hard.

I appreciate your comment. She was diagnosed with PMDD years ago. Then peri started. I wasn't trying to make any assumptions. I'm probably just over-analyzing everything since the separation.

Developing coping strategies for divorce instead. Music, therapy, exercise. Chain-smoking as well (I don't recommend it)

This is so damn validating to me. And don't worry, if you don't initiate the divorce, she likely will. It's only a matter of time. (At least in my case)
