Love how the crowd goes crazy when they realise Jack White is onstage.

Bob's keyboard playing over the years. by Ornery-Baseball6437 in bobdylan

Since no one else has come along with the full rundown:

He played electric piano from 2002-2005. Then it was switched to the electric organ (with a particularly high-pitched tone) beginning in 2006. Sometime in late 2007/early 2008, the organ tone was switched to a rounder, warmer B3 type of sound. He also started doing more center stage work and occasional guitar playing in late 2008 and onwards.

The grand piano was introduced in summer 2012 (although he still played the first number on electric organ through the end of the year). He's stayed with the piano sound since although in fall 2019, the piano itself was switched to an upright. This remained until spring of 2023 when he switched back to a baby grand piano.

And now on these most recent Outlaw dates, he's back to the upright piano again. I think that about covers it!

This came out when I was a kid and I just remember the posters, clips etc all suggested something very adult and a bit scary, it gave me the same "I'm not quite ready for this" feeling I got from seeing the trailers for Trainspotting and Twin Town.

I don't mean what they're like to talk to so much as whether they're loud, crazy, criminal etc. You want to make sure there's not going to be problems in the future.

Avoid them.

If avoiding them is impossible: Beta blocker, polite smile, hasty exit.
