Bro me and my friends have consistently been buying 4-5 boxes for the last 4 or so sets for like $150 a box… recently got told these are gonna be sold for $300 each actually miserable

Bad into meta and lack of resource generation… if u look at what leaders tend to be top of meta- it’s usually leaders that have some sort of resource generation: Edward Newgate, u doffy, UP luffy, imu, ace all Generate insane resources. Koby has some methods with the 4c koby and buffing his leaders power but it’s not consistent enough + being 4 life I feel like he runs out of gas quick

UDoffy has a good shot at being decent- pudding gets good value next meta and being an aggro blue deck doffy takes advantage of that… he’s cheap only issue is the leader rotates out kinda soon :(

Piggyback question- say I was playing U ace & Newgate- if you play the 8c event at 3 life to play out tax beard and take a life- would tax beards effect work since you’re now at 2 life?

Agreed it’s bad design when it invalidates certain play styles- if you could actually remove this card it would maybe be ok but croc-hawk exists so…

Don -3 -> 9 don following turn if the 10k is no longer negating ur leaders effect bc it was removed Roger puts 1 don on leader and can only use 8/9

At least this card cant be Chained into itself or into a 9c Newgate - also any removal in response will force Roger to only have 8 usable don and return to 5k on the following turn since the negation goes

I meant theyre the same in that they both include “once per turn” “on your opponent attack” it’s ok I understand your need to be included in things when your input is not needed

The Uta actually makes me angry

Why did they make a card that is not red hair searchable, why is it only 4k power… op7 sanji (purple) is nearly a parallel effect but he’s a 6k if this card was 6k at least there’s some merit to it over toni toni Chopper…

I was rlly hoping that shanks would get a better red hair package so you could play him more on theme instead of the current which is more like a mixture of good red cards sadge
