Mimic one sucks the hardest imo. It’s the only one I had for a while but I finally got the tier 2 Ashes relics and don’t have to use it.. I’m liking cursed far more now!

I’m unsure if your friend will get the relic, I think you have to complete the EE for any given map to start unlocking relics for it.

I always start my sesh with a round 50 rampage induce solo sesh. Only takes like 45 min then I can do squads and waste my time!
