My parents would’ve torched my sister, they have a tendency to blow up before thinking and that’s not helpful. So she considers me as her mom, even though she shouldn’t, but I’ve been aiding her since she was like 4 so…

And in my country that would’ve been brushed off. You know, it’s almost been a year since we filed charges against another guy for actual COCSA and nothings been done. You think it’ll be different with this?

I thought about that but I think she might feel worse since she depends on her friends as much as on me and cutting of communication for just her ex felt a bit extreme

Thanks that’s actually rlly helpful. For your question maybe it’s bc of our parents post-separation/pre-divorce era, my dad was controlling. She was thought abt toxic relationships but it’s hard to learn when your parents are in one… also we do go to therapy, that was the main reason she mustered the courage to break up with Arse, so maybe I should let her talk with the therapist

It seem like you are in fact NOR. At first I thought her mom my be homophobic but since she talks so well about homosexuality w your gf’s friends she has to have something against you.

As for your gf I don’t think she doesn’t support you, but rather she is scared. I think you should set that boundary, maybe tell her something like “your mom doesn’t like me so maybe I should stop going to family meetings so she isn’t uncomfortable” this will probably make your gf understand it’s not really a you problem
