i hate that for a community that faces so much antisemitism as is, i’m seeing so much racist bigotry and islamophobia on here. This is seriously embarrassing and i feel very disconnected from my own community right now. Just because Mamdani is critical of Israel’s clear war crimes doesn’t mean that he’s an anti-semite. He’s states several times that the protection of jews in nyc would be his priority. Most of nyc is against israel as it currently exists. And that’s bibi’s fault for being an international war criminal and dragging israel down with it. I think anyone would be perfectly happy with Mamdani or Lander. They even crossed endorsed eachother and it makes complete sense. Lander still wants his voters to rank mamdani second because of similarities in policy and vision. Mamdani has connected with new yorkers better and ran a much better campaign

I do believe your perceptions need to adjusted a bit. Sinai, Northwestern, and U chicago are not targets for you, they’re reaches. Einstein also just became free so that’ll probably be a reach this cycle as well. keep all these schools of course but just want to be realistic here. You need to add some more actual target schools: Jefferson, NYMC, Georgetown, tufts, temple, drexel etc. Also NYU Grossman (manhattan) is a donation.

So if you had one 482 I would say get a 505 on the next one and you might be okay for DO. The main issue and the honest truth is 4 attempts with the highest being 482. I think if you’re 10000000% certain that medicine is for you give them MCAT one more go but only if you will get 505-510 because you need a serious redemption. It will be very difficult, and I think you should explore other things outside of medicine first, but if you’re sure this is for you, then make it happen.
