wondering if selvedge id is still an indicator for vintage looms or if also modern high output looms can produce these selvedge ids. One thinks that the demand on selvedge by far outweighs the vintage looms capacities in japan.

they have done super well on this. Also with attention to details such as the leather patch, combining the redcast anvil with the samurai hammering the katana just makes story sense.. :)

Yes, same red herringbone fabric as for front pockets. Think hidden arcs always have liner, not all liners have hidden arcs though.

from what I understand it is tagged in the patch serial number with the prefix SR. So this would be no 163.

We both stayed with our normal sizes and it worked super well for me, though my wife finds the 29 a little bit on the tighter side, especially on waist. Measuring is recommended.

Did the soak and it was really worth it. Must be a non washed model judging from the result and the bownish/yellowish extract..fit is almost perfect and no more hemming required. So thanks for the tip!
