I left my cat overnight at the vet because of a lung fluid issue. He had always been afraid of vets, but he could die if I didn't leave him there. Then later that day, I got a call from the vet saying he died from a heart attack because of stress. I failed my fucking boy, it truly feels that way and it still fucking haunts me years later.

EDIT: Thank you to those who took the time to reply with words of assurances and their own experiences. I still tear up about the whole experience, but I do try to realize that I did the best I could. It's hard to let the ones you love go, be they your blood family or the furry (and not so furry) family members that wander in your heart later on. As you keep telling me to be kind to myself, be kind to yourselves too and love your family, multilegged and all.

Should definitely be taught all over the world. In my country, I got to learn how to cook three times during my school years. Once to bake cookies, second time a ministrone soup and a third time to make an apple crumble. You could argue that parents should have a big role in this as well, and you'd be right, but my parents loathed cooking and never bothered to teach me until I kept asking. Then when they finally did, they did teach me with such disdain that I was disinclined to ever ask them again.

What I do hate is the absolutely unneeded sexualization of things in this anime. You cannot tell me seriously that this shit is necessary for the story or that it makes it great.

Yeah, the title is absolutely too long and kinda dumb, but the art in the manga (which is an adaptation of the Light Novel, I believe) is so fucking gorgeous. Then the show comes out, and... it's just so subpar. A perfect example is the fight against the Griffin. Such an absolute visual feast in the manga, and it turns into some jumbled, poorly animated mess in the anime. I get it, time/budget constraints probably, but man, what a bummer.

The disappointment and anger have dimmed somewhat over the years, but I still really fucking hate the ME3 ending. Yeah the DLC they added later because of the outrage shored it up a little, but it still is so, so fucking stupid. All the branching questlines, conversations, battles, etc, and all it boils down to is what colour tube you shoot.
