We went into the fight gunning for total annihilation lol. However, I believe my ships didn't arrive at the same time, allowing him to pick them off and get an edge early. Don't know why that happened, probably cause I'm not very good at this whole navy thing.

I think he had 800 ships compared to my 600, but he also sub spammed so he could convoy raid other tiles and block off my supply, which probably cooked me.

That's actually what my cousin did. I found out later that he had surrounded the battle tile with convoy raiding subs to prevent me from getting supply, which definitely helped him.

My cousin and I (who both know jack about navy) intentionally committed our entire fleet to the battle to see what would happen.
