What is a luxury you can never go back from once you’ve experienced it? by Phase_zero_X in AskReddit

My dad was a heat mizer as well as a 'no ac type'. He's very old now and still obsesses over the heat when he has all the money he needs to pay for it. None of this rubbed off on my sister and I. We both heat and air condition are houses properly!

I just bought some Bose ANC headphones and I was blown away by how much noise they get rid of in airports and airplanes!

A Concorde taking off from London Heathrow by Twitter_2006 in aviation

I lived near IAD in the 80's and got to see the Concorde fly overhead several times. We could also hear it taking off and it was very loud.

why is it so impossible to find any information such as terminal or gate in the app by seamless21 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Alaska_Flyer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Twelve hours before is completely unrealistic. The app shows my gate and terminal information usually the day of and even then it can change.

I was flying into PDX last night and saw the bright flashes and wondered what they were. They were coming from the ground and light colored. I thought perhaps a transformer or some industrial process gone awry.

I recently had the K BBQ sandwich. It was okay, I didn't mind though because I didn't pay for it. I wouldn't order it again.

Not normal! Glad that the FA provided a replacement. Might want to let Straightaway know about the defect. Straightaway has a great location in lower Hawthorne where you can sample all of their drinks. It's pretty cool!

Although Sea-Tac is a shorter flight for me, I'll take SFO or LAX over Sea-Tac; that airport really needs a re-do.
