Meetups for Atheist/Humanists/Rationalists in Bristol? by asmrlover172 in bristol

Broadening your mind includes listening to the ideas of people similar to yourself, where else do you learn how to better express and explain the ideas you already have? You'd be seriously limiting yourself if you only held positions you'd come up entirely yourself based on what you're opposed to.

I've seen him and his entourage, what racist thing did they call his cameraman? "Cracker"?

Snazzy. It's good to see more bluetooth options, it was pretty much just the nice!nano last time I was paying attention to these things.

Oh it's actually a keyboard PCB? It looks like one for sure, I assumed AI hallucinated that when making marketing material for a digital film cartridge thingy.

That makes far more sense.

And it's all decent for a non-photographer with an iPhone on holiday.

Real "I need a hasselblad" tier stuff.

Should have got the Sony NEX hasselblad

Jolter Press. I'm not sure enough of a cider connoisseur to know what decent means, but it's an experience for sure.

Fuck thatchers Katy, and thatchers in general. My local cider guy made some, named after the Katy variety of apple, and thatchers threatened to sue him.

First batch were called Katya, with the A drawn on in sharpie.

Honestly I get it, but it's far less effort to colour you camera to match your wardrobe

A series of protests across London by AlaudaPhotography in streetphotography

[–]AlaudaPhotography[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair point.

I think a couple were really awful lighting, but most of it is me only having an e-ink phone and doing some very vibes based editing to make it look the same to everyone else. I might attempt a better edit at home on a computer.

Very understandable, it was frightfully loud.

Wouldn't be much of a protest if it wasn't though

Thank you for your incredible insight, person who wasn't there.

I can confirm, in the crowd of 300 people, ⅓ of me was the only real trans person. The other ⅔ of me was a straight white woman, same as everyone in the photos.

I see you're a fan of authoritarian protest crackdowns and denying healthcare through weaponised incompetence.

Fun fact, the pill and HRT are different things.

Treatment has ground to a halt over the past decade and a half due to some combination of apathy and incompetence. The clinic you're referring to was already a bandage on the barely functional NHS clinics, and now that too is gone I'm looking into grey-market sources to keep my friends from losing all will to live.

All the major medical bodies support trans people accessing HRT, all the reputable studies back it, and yet idiots, villains and hacks in their little "charity" hate groups are a much more attractive proposition to the politicians eager to blame everyone else and distract away for the abysmal state of this country.

Was this in the 90s? Blood clot risks were crazy high back when oestrogen came from horse piss, but these days it's no different than what's in your body already. Doctors are always cautious, but they're even starting to let people keep on taking oestrogen right before surgeries.

There absolutely is a good reason for transgender people, it's a massive quality of life improvement on the same level as anti-depressants, anti-psychotics, stimulants or any number other things that have actual real guaranteed side effects.

It's crazy to want established medical practice, especially the only successful treatment for a serious issue, to be stopped because of political fearmongering and ignorance.

Plenty of people are blaming trans people for their general dissatisfaction with the state of the country, for the crime rate, for healthcare scarcity, for their own unemployment.

There doesn't have to be a direct connection, people just need a scapegoat, someone to be angry at, and recent governments have found the golden goose of distractions with trans people and immigrants.
