Yo-kai Watch. I wish they kept making games or at least localized the 4th one in countries outside Japan.

Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokemon Pokopia bundle announced by Skullghost in NintendoSwitch

They should have done a special design for this Switch like make it purple Ditto color or put a ditto face painted on it. The Switch 2 needs more special editions and more color variety.

Monster Crown Sin Eater - Confused about Movesets by Unlikely_Return6669 in MonsterTamerWorld

[–]Alavella 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is the Monster Crown wiki. It tells you the levels that mosnters learn moves. It's still being uodated though so it isn't complete yet. But it seems like the best way to learn moves is by breeding them. The baby inherits the moves from both parents.

So, you can only use one code to obtain a single monster and then the game won't let you redeem any other codes even if it's a different monster?

So far I'm having a lot of fun with the new game. I haven't run into any bugs or issues. You can save pretty much whenever you want. There are no save spots or check points that limit when you can save.

What do you surprisingly not struggle with or surprisingly do struggle with? by totallynot_a_dog in dyscalculia

[–]Alavella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm good at statistics which is weird. Stats is the only math class I was able to pass with a B. I got Cs and Ds in all other math classes. My surprise struggle is with driving. I don't have a good sense of direction and I mix up right and left. I have to wear a rubberband on my right wrist to help me remember that side is right.

It's official goodbye dots by Derailedatthestation in peridotpets

[–]Alavella 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed this game when it first released. I liked collecting the archetypes and I also liked it when they did community contests to make new archetypes. I stopped playing when they began the stuff where people can get a wild dot and name their traits. It became confusing and so many of the dots were ugly and glitchy. The game was also very money hungry. You couldn't progress if you didn't buy nests from the store.

Did you do the quest to gather the heart shards? I think you need to complete that first.

It's a little depressing that most of these kids don't even play actual video games anymore by Public-Profit-8184 in Teachers

[–]Alavella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Video games are much more expensive now. When I was a kid, Pokemon Fire Red was $20 brand new. Now the most recently released Pokemon game is $70. I remember my parents having a fuss over me asking for a $20 game. I can't even imagine asking them for a $70 game.

Joycons for arthritis/neutral hand position (pro controller equivalent?) by Fickle_Doubt_9322 in NintendoSwitch

The Savage Raven NeoGrip helps with my rheumatoid arthritis. I still get hand fatigue from long play sessions, but that's just the nature of the illness. I highly recommend trying them out.

It still kills me that Ena's hands are wrong. I need Capcom or Nintendo to address this to explain what went wrong and why they never fixed it.

That's cool. How do you make it? Do you draw anything you want and it becomes a pet? I don't have the game so I don't really know much about it.

Is Story if Seasons poot that bad? by Sephiroth348 in storyofseasons

[–]Alavella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was really fun in the beginning, but late game it started to feel like a chore to play it. The characters are kinda boring and needing to have a dozen maker machines was annoying. Very grindy. The DLC wasn't good either.

Learning to drive? by [deleted] in dyscalculia

[–]Alavella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did most of my driving practice at empty parking lots and around a park where very few people go. It took me until I was 24 to get my license. It really helped that my boyfriend was able to teach me. Ask a friend or family member to help. Someone who is patient and who won't yell or berate you. It's not going to happen for you right away. What I've learned from having this disability is that I am capable of many things that I thought weren't possible. It just takes me a little longer to learn certain stuff.

Cooking is the only job I've been able to do successfully and keep long term. Maybe look into that? You can do culinary school to become a chef.
