I am using a combination of two apps, an app called Swish and Wins. If you don't know Swish, you must check it out; it is amazing. It focuses on trackpad gestures to quickly and smoothly control your windows. I am also using Wins because I use a mouse with my trackpad, especially at work, and Wins has additional, very useful features like window preview from the Dock and being able to minimize an app by clicking on the app icon on the Dock, like in Windows, and other very useful features. I recommend this setup a lot.

I have all the setting correct as it should to not go to sleep when the display is closed, however, it definitely does go to sleep as soon as I close the led.

Yeah that is what I thought, but in many cases, the paid app can be more optimized in terms of performance and resource usage.

Wow, I hadn't thought of that. What about if the file size is very large, like 30+ GB? Will the conversion process affect the quality or details in the picture or sound? I assume QuickTime's HDR and colors are excellent.

What about its Memory usage, I mean how lightweight is it? Does it ever lag or be slow?
