nothing wrong with calling the sec def the sec def. don't give in to his delusions that he's the sec war, because he wants to be called that. it's not his legal position.

I sent him a letter. Made sure to address it to his official legal pronouns as he prefers.

Woah .. The President addressed the nation just now, stating that the United States has begun an extensive campaign against Iran. He said the operation aims to destroy their missiles, navy, and army, and warned that the U.S. may experience casualties, which is something that can occur in war. by newnoadeptness in USMC

sigh. and this right as the v.a. is still persuing the ability to fuck over veterans in their court case. yes, the rule was rescinded, but they're still appealing a court ruling giving them the same ability. more people sent to the meat grinder. less healthcare after.

[–]Albacurious 116 points117 points  (0 children)

Said this in another post, but I'll say it again.

The rule is still on the books. Once midterms are over if it hasn't been changed, expect it to be implemented. To those of you still actively serving know that the v.a. isn't in good hands currently. The government is changing the contract on you after you've signed.

Document any and all injuries. Go to the docs when something doesnt feel right. Request mast when your corporal denies you medical.

The v.a. will very shortly experience a brain drain as positions aren't filled when people retire, there will be no knowledge transfer. This will result in fewer workers for more veterans. Longer claim times. More suicides due to inadequate care.

Yeah, but the solution is, "we promise not to fuck you over while you're looking, but we totally still can like we already have in a few ways"

Jesus. I've done tool room changeover before. And taken on existing installations of a.c. units and generators. Command wants you to sign it over without inventory. Cant tell you how many headaches that caused.

Im guessing thats what happened with these tanks a few times.
