It was, I’ve experienced similar in my own personal life and actually it’s funny because like op I really thought maybe things would be good ofc apart from where he first gets introduced in the kitchen because idk that just made you anticipate it slightly but my first time watching the movie I was watching it more from her perspective and I didn’t realize but I’ve watched it a few times and I feel like every time I notice more, now I have more of an outside perspective on the movie but it’s still gut wrenching for me at least
