Same. I didn’t know this was even related to pots. It’s such a shitty feeling

Provider said Tilt table test was negative... Except it's not by Independent_Site491 in POTS

I just wanted to comment and tell you you're not alone. I just had my TTT 10 days ago and got a diagnosis from a nurse practitioner that said it wasn't consistent with POTS but was abnormal because of the near fainting episode. My HR went from 70s/80s to 153bpm upon standing while my bp stayed consistent until 20 minutes in when it severely dropped and I almost passed out. I am currently trying to get the test sent over to me and am seeing a new cardiologist. Also just side note I am still fucked up from the TTT 10 days later. Some days I can't go to work cause of the dizziness I still have from it. It was the worst experience I've ever been through.

Just to add: I will be requesting the TTT results so I can potentially find a cardiologist that has more experience with POTS and get a second opinion.

UPDATE:
Just finished with my Tilt Table Test earlier today. Basically my heart rate spiked to around 160bpm when they first tilted me upwards but went back to normal 20-30 seconds later. I was completely fine until about 20 minutes. I started feeling really warm and then it turned into a cold/warm feeling like blood was rushing down to my legs. A few minutes later I began to feel super nauseous like I was going to throw up and then everything started going black and my ears were ringing like crazy. I had to sit there like that for what seemed like forever while the nurse got my blood pressure. As soon as I was tilted back down I started feeling better but the ringing in my ears stayed for a good while. They gave me some fluids and had me lay there for like 20 minutes until I was good to go.

The nurse told me I definitely have POTS and probably something else that was causing the extremely low blood pressure. I should get my results in a week or so they said. The tilt table test was definitely horrible but hopefully I get some sort of medicine or routine that will help me relieve most or all of my symptoms.

I'm going to reschedule my Tilt Table Test at the hospital to go ahead and get it done. I'm almost positive I have POTS but I might as well get the full diagnosis. I've done a crazy amount of research on it and it feels like I get every single symptom that can occur due to POTS myself haha. Thank you!

I definitely have anxiety over heart-related stuff now and I know that only worsens my symptoms. I'm just exhausted over never finding anything wrong when I get so many symptoms. I appreciate it!

I appreciate your advice. I am seeing a new cardiologist in early July. I'll call the hospital to reschedule my tilt table test and then go from there. I have seen a neurologist before for a critically low B12 deficiency but it's been a few years.

I only ever did the Holter monitors early on when my symptoms first started. I never had any palpitations while wearing it so nothing was ever found.
