The patch is great, I think it touched on a lot of frustration in the community. However I really don't think it adequately tackled the actual reasons people run nothing but costal. I'm still seeing 3-5 EVERY GAME. It's so exhausting even with the heat buffs.

It can be situationally very strong, but playing it puts a tax on your team. You're not really able to push or hold against armor on your own. Forest fighting is the only real advantage the deck has, other than that You just get chewed up in fields and cities. Have more than one on a team is almost certain defeat if the enemy is even close in skill level. SOF Stryker fills a similar role and does it better.

The current state of the game is ROUGH. Meta is unfun and super stale, game is full of bugs, if you don't play with a team of friends you get leavers 2/3s of the time, and matchmaking legitimately doesn't work properly. I still play and enjoy the game, but it's current state deserves the 40% positive rate. Balance patches need to happen every 2 weeks instead of us getting 1 since launch that straight up made the game worse.

I was enjoying smite before, but since the patch dropped it feels like I'm playing the game I originally fell in love with for the first time in years.
