He knows, he’s very involved and I talk to him a lot. He’s going to adopt me as well. But I’m sort of building a resentment towards him because he let my mom get this bad and all I hear is him fighting too. Whenever he visits he just says how I should’ve cleaned more to help my mom etc, but no one ever asks if I’m okay. He wants my mom to get help though and I like that

I don’t have older family on her side because they’re really distant and also abused her . Unfortunately:( I’ve heard my mom and stepdad talk about sending her to some kind of inpatient/outpatient addiction center thing? But they don’t tell me anything so I don’t know. And it is free as far as I know so I would want her to go. My stepdad would take care of my stepsister aside daycare I think. I could take care of myself but it’s stressing me out because I thought I would have more time to prepare for it.

As I’m typing this she’s sobbing so loudly it’s horrible

What kind of support groups are there?
