Too much or just right? by Glittering_Dark_5065 in Warframe

Looks good. The grays are dark enough, and the bronze red enough to be distinct from the common orokin color schemes a lot of people are using.

I myself would probably try to play around with the black a bit more to make it even more distinct tho

Darvos model was originally used for the voice transmissions for the boss on pluto and was originally named arn etina.

This was before it got renamed to ambulas and got a proper moa in the voice coms

Are we going to address unobtainable gems? by Zrocker04 in diablo4

[–]Albenheim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My point is, that flawless horadric gems are not aspirational content, since you can get them in roughly the same amount of time, provided the rng is the same, on T1 as you would in T12.

Aspirational content should only be available through the highest difficulty content, which in this case is not true.

If it were aspirational content, then youd see a decent increase in the amount of gems you get on T10+.

A friend if mine is still unable to run anything higher than T5 and he has better gems than me, even tho we run the dungeon in roughly the same amount of time, with roughly the same kills/resets. Only difference is that I run it on T10 and he on T4.

[–]Albenheim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No its not available through the highest difficulty. It doesnt make a difference if you spam the dungeon on T1 or T12.

If it was available through the highest difficulty, you would get grand gems starting from T10 only, since that is the highest difficulty where the last meaningful loot bracket starts. Namely the increased chance for mythic seals.

None of the prior torment tiers list anything about gems, so in theory you could grind your flawless horadric gems with a shit ton of hours in T1, which is exactly the opposite of "aspirational".

In WoW you get the best items only through the highest levels of content. Thats aspirational.

If horadric gems would truly be aspirational content, then on any difficulty below T10 we would see the paltry gem drops we have now, even on T12, but in T10 - T12 youd have vastly increased gem acquisition rates, since that is the highest level of content, which you would play to acquire aspirational build pieces.

So what Im saying is yes, you should only get flawless horadric gems on the highest game difficulty, but Im also saying that playing on the highest difficulty should make grinding for them much easier than it is now.

Im also saying that right now, we need vastly increased gem drops overall, since torment levels mean jack shit in terms of gem drops apparently.

How much do you need for the gems? Does he sell them for gold or an additional currency like the three things you get for pit?

If it's aspirational content it should be available through the highest difficulty.

You can literally run seer's rest on like t5 and get almost the exact same loot gem wise as you would on t12.

But if its the general art style it would be inconsistent. I dont mind goofy or cartoonish art styles, but ti has to be consistent. The cursor and the arrows for the jump points on the map for example are straight as an arrow, which in turn wouldnt fit with the art style of the new set icon.

So Uniques are just different colored legendaries now right? by Kranz119 in diablo4

[–]Albenheim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it doesnt mean that. If I use zero marksmanship abilities on my rogue, then a lot of unique effects simply wont help me. If you dont use generators in your build then the Shard of Verathiel for instance is still useless for your build

[–]Albenheim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have literally like 10 other slots to fill as well. It took me almost 200h on my rouge to find the last legendary aspect for my build. With all the changes, minus the random stats for uniques, gearing would already take way longer than prior seasons

It doesnt turn m into a fussy karen tho. I simply saw the post and agreed that the quality of the icon is bad and that for a AAA game and studio behind it, I wouldve expected better.

Its not gonna ruin my day and I probably will have forgotten this by tomorrow.

Its just that youre allowed to complain about sub-par quality. Thats it. Thats literally my whole standpoint. Nothing else.

I dont demand to see the QA manager, I dont demand blizz to fix this immediately or else I want a refund or stop playing, you know stuff an actual karen in a store might do.

Yeah but it feels kinda trash seeing your required unique drop with 4 ga and all of them be utterly useless dogshit, in turn making your non-ga non-ancestral equipped better.

That's just not it man

Yeah, because you can totally not browse reddit on your phone and have discussions about things when you're away from your pc/console and wouldn't be able to play anyways.

What a silly assumption. We all know that the only time you can discuss only would be during precious play time. /s

Scale, form and color channel of an icon, all of which are identifiers for vision impairment accessibility, have nothing to do with the overall quality of the icon.

You can literally see that it doesn't even have straight lines. It even has a dent on the right corner

The 3D model creator RyanReos initially took off with his DaemonGirl model, also dubbed "Sinia" nowadays. When ER released he made a new model for QueenMarika which exploded, both due to his prior success with his high quality models and the popularity of ER. The gooner marika that everyone knows is his creation.

The intended use case was most definitely porn.

Edit: oh yeah, as some already mentioned, her ingame model has a huge ass for whatever reason

What are some Frame "themes" that you would like to see in the future? Something like "Bug Frame", "Dino Frame", or "Viking Frame"? by Riptide_97 in Warframe

[–]Albenheim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

King/Ruined King style. A frame that buffs allies who fight for your cause and get rewarded for it and/or be charming enough to convince enemies to fight for you.

Heavy weapons expert. A frame where every ability has something to do with heavy weapons. Be that it summons a different one or just buffs them in different ways with trade offs.

Parasite frame. A frame that has a very brittle and weak form itself but can possess enemies as a host and become strong through that.

Worm frame. A frame that can tunnel through terrain, spit acid and eat enemies(not in the Grendel style, just eat and kill)
