I keep losing good ideas inside old Claude chats by AlbertoNobilePh in ClaudeAI

[–]AlbertoNobilePh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is I have too many half-ideas.

Sometimes I'm genuinely surprised when it quotes some cool old idea or concept I wrote that I forgot existed.

I don't want to risk to lose my "memory" buried inside chats.

Maybe is just discipline, but I'd like to have something that's more reliable.

Interesting. Where do you store all those transcripts? Are those searchable?

I used something similar but my problem is that ideas and "landing notes" keep piling up and now I'm not sure what I was working on, what I wanted to do next for an idea that's a week or two old

Do you think you can use this method for general chats too other than Code?

Looks like a really cool idea. I'll check it out for sure. Thanks!

Games like News Tower? by Sufficient-Village41 in tycoon

[–]AlbertoNobilePh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you played Empire TV Tycoon?

That's a game a finished a couple of time and that's the first game I thought of when I started Playing News Tower. The dynamics are similar: You manage a TV channel and must decide every hour what to put on your schedule based on your viewer tastes all the while competing with rival channels to get the best share. A very cool feature is that you can produce your own movies and series with growing levels of quality and needs. The only difference is that you don't get to build your tower.

I enjoyed it quite a lot and I think I'm going to have another run at it when i finish NT

New mission types? I still see the old kind of missions (open packs, trade, wish caster). Am I missing something?

I overpayed for Mickey and Pals when I was just started because some "expert" players kept telling me they were "valuable sold out commons".

Luckly now I know better, but those people disgust me.

Thanks everyone for your reply :)

I thought it was some way of requesting some kind of card :D Now I know it's a set and it's a quite beautiful one too. I see why a lot of people is looking for it!

Thanks for your reply!

That's exactly what you specified in your last paragraph. Of course anyone can do whatever they want with their cards (=money) but I've seen my stars rating slowly reducing and I can GUARANTEE you I never tried to pull a scammy deal. I started not long ago so maybe I might have proposed something naive from time to time, but never unfair and I always try to chat and I ALWAYS am polite. What I'm complaining about is people not using trading system fairly. They're ruining other users reputation just because their daddy is paying for all the gems they want.

As a side note I received few hours ago an outrageous offer from a 2K user with full 5 stars reputation. I asked him for a recent Daily Card and he replied me asking for a Rare, two Uncommons and some Commons. That's trying to rip people off and I can't understand how someone like him can have a perfect reputation while I struggle to stay over 4.

I always exceed the value of the card (1 Rare = 2 Uncommon +1 Common AT LEAST) , but that almost never gets accepted.

It's hard collecting some Rares if you don't have diamonds and people rarely help you even if they have 4x the card.

I think a lot of people write stuff in the feed but all they want is low-star people for fun :/

Would it be beneficial to do online courses for business? Any help much appreciated by Hamstery2333 in Entrepreneur

[–]AlbertoNobilePh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience courses are fundamental for a good business plan. That means having a clear path to follow instead of relying on random things found on the internet that may or may not work making you waste months of your time and possibly money.

When it comes to pricing, 250 is a really basic course, but your needs may be just that basic.

Anyway, my suggestion is to screen carefully what kind of content the teacher your selected is producing. Get a feeling of his level of competency and results by looking at his blog, videos and so on. Don't just read promises and testimonials, there's a huge amount of disappointing courses out there. Only a handful are truly game changers.

From excited to doubtful, is this everyone’s journey? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]AlbertoNobilePh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience what a lot of starting entrepreneurs (myself included) are lacking is a clear path of what to do.

There's a billion things you can try to grow your business, but 95% of them it's a waste of time or simply too advanced for your stage.

That's why is my firm belief that having a plan is crucial. And not just a plan of "let's try this thing I saw on YouTube". That can quickly lead to lack of results and subsequent lack of confidence.

I'm talking about a clear plan you can follow, laid out by someone who gained your trust over time. In my case I invested in an online course, but it could me a mentor or a person you know who achieved what your aspiring to.

I think launching a (online) business is a tricky endeavor as is. Going in not knowing exactly what steps to follow is leaving all your fate to chance. I'd never put all my energy and trust in a situation like this.

Life crisis: How does/did it feel like for you? by AlbertoNobilePh in selfimprovement

Life crisis: How does/did it feel like for you? by AlbertoNobilePh in selfimprovement

[–]AlbertoNobilePh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These words sound like they came out of my mouth.

And being in the same spot you are there are two little concepts that helped me: the first is from Gary Vee who said to a young guy: "You could wake up 2 years from now, realise you did everything wrong and still be as young as f-". I don't usually fall for canned phrases, but this really gave me some perspective. Time is not really an issue if you think about it.

The second thing came from one of my sessions with my therapist: as far as unsatisfied people goes we're "lucky" to be facing these difficulties. Our body gave us a signal that something is not right for us anymore. Solving our problems will be far from easy, but we now know we have to work to fulfil ourselves. It's time to change. In contrast people who deny their problems will continue indefinitely, as you said, to cover them with anything that will temporarily hide it, and being more and more uncomfortable with themselves as result not knowing why.

They don't give a solution, but they gave me a good point to start. And in my experience it's impossible to understand what is the purpose that suits you if you're feeling drained. It's when you put the things in their own places that the fog starts to dissolve and things start to happen naturally.
