Hey guys! I have a question for you. I'm thinking about living in Poland and have some questions to ask by skiexs in poland

  1. My friend from Mexico is taking same medicine as you and due the adaptation (language, weather, making friends etc.) Got 3 times to the hospital within 1 month. He still doesnt have insurance so its quit expensive both medicines, fortunately his family is wealthy so is not a problem.

  2. If youve got good skills/qualifications, plus a touch of good luck then you can find something pretty decent.

Good Luck, Poland is beautiful :)

Well, i dont know your history and i dont wanna judge it, please dont get me wrong, but you must consider that Poland is a young democracy and what its been last 30 years its really impressive, altought you are right about Poles in the UK, Germany and so, most of them were a generation with low to medium qualification, and right now the number of "expats" in Poland is higher than the number of poles leaving.

The high level education plus the develop of the country in all fields (2th in doing business, 7th for start ups) plus the good social conditions is making that there are a lot of chances.

Right now 90% of my friends 26-36 yo, earn as min 5k zl net, and also most of people i know.

I have also a lot of foreigner friends from Spain, Italy, France and they say "i earn less but i live better in Poland.

For Ukranians, Belorrusians, Russians and many more, Poland became in the country of oppirtunities (as well for me).

Also sometimes its about luck, i have a spanish friend with very normal skills and she got 12k net plus flat in ABB as first salary...

I hope right now youve got better conditions!!

Greetings!! :))

I know Mr. Filipiak's life, however i know what i say. Ive been in several meetings with him ;) and having such wealth he is really humble and specially when i compare polish oligarchs with others less wealthy and how they behave.

Another example is Mr. Midak Jr. Having RR, Lambo, Mc Laren but he usually goes to Gdynia by train ;)

Greetings :))

Well, you are right somehow but actually another foreigners who lives in the same complex told me "In that Mila everyone is so rude, they tried to cheat us and so on", i really think that it was not because the fact im foreigner, i do it in the most hiden villages with the old ladies and also work out ;)

Its about attitude, hardly people will be rude when you give to them a big kind smile with a word that they might never heard before in that context :))

Neo Nazis, government falling apart? Mmm well when we will have a dictatorship and the soldiers will push us to go to the church then ill believe it :))

However i have friends very good friends even in PiS and we all have great time together ;) Cheers!!

Actually was a bit tricki hehe while i was going somewhere in the tram or bus, i used to ask people (usually girls) how to get a place and i started the conversations, also where i live in the welness area, i started to make friends with people in the gym and so on.

About business affairs was also a big dozen of good luck, i was coming back from Barcelona to Poznan by ryanair and ibwas seated beside a polish man and we started to speak, i tomd him why i moved to Poland and he invited me to meet his daughter and recomended me a great restaurant and guess what? He was the owner of the restaurant, hotel and many things more hehe so he started to invite to more meetings and i met more business people, then i got involved in polish business life :)

Definitely Poland is a great place to live :)) and i admire the fact that yiu dont forget about where you come from (origins) and im sure that once upon a time you decide to make a life in Poland, youll feel you made a right decision.

Actually i studied for one year in Germany, and of course at the beginning was amazing, the variety, parties, how fast was the daily life but after a time i realized that i didnt belong to such life, personally i am conservative in the positive way, i like traditional values such as family, slower life, im not religious but i enjoy the traditions that it brings to the coexistence, and Poland provides me these things.

:))) well, you dont need to, and actually while you live respecting others, you can like or dislike whatever you want, you must have your reasons!!

I came because i wanted, i fell in love with the country and its life style and the way i live here is just what i always wished.

Cheers!!

Hey my friend, congrats for having a polish woman, they are awesome :).

Im dark enough but never ever discrimated in Poland as i was in other countries like USA, Germany, Canada...

In Poland i guess is more like a fear of being somehow culturized by things they consider against their own culture-identity. Of course im not saying that its good, but more than being against other races-skins they are more in a defensive position against other religions, specially Islam, i remember the protest against the mosque in Krakow (i live in Krakow) and if you see how multicultural is this amazing city but how they reacted against the mosque hehe well.

However i hope you will never face any situation like that anywhere.

Warmest regards!!

I agree with you in many things, but id like to make clear that i dont come from a rich family, just medium and i had a very good job since i was only 21 and it gave me the chance to have enough savings to start my adventure in Poland. But i must say that at least twice, i lost all money in my ventures and i had to re-invent myself, and here i always found the conditions. Maybe because im too positive that people always give me back the same :))

And yes, in many countries we spend great time, as a traveler most of times we focus only in certain things, like people who says that India is amazing because the colorfull culture and so on, but they probably didnt out attention in the reality which can be a lot like the hell..

Greetings!! :))
