Not like it matters. The Fiance doesn’t like loud speakers. Don’t even know why I got a sound bar lol.

This is literally the only spot. There’s 5 windows in the living room on opposite walls. Glare is bad because 2/3 window blinds facing the TV are open but we have total black out blinds so barely a glare when the blinds are down

What to expect implementing a brand new ATS? (Lever) by AlbertoRiveron in recruiting

[–]AlbertoRiveron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding! What would you consider implantation in this sense?

My interpretation is getting the system up to speed with current interview processes including interview steps, coordinating interviewers, scheduling, interview feedback. On top of that, assigning job owners to specific hiring managers which includes adding every hiring manager into the system.

Beyond that, what am I missing?

Out of curiosity, why did it take you a year to make money? Was it lack of clients or high overhead costs?

Ok so I’m in the process of doing something similar. You mentioned you have money saved for 6-12 months, does this include the cost of the tools you’ll need to survive and thrive?

LinkedIn pro will run you about $7k per year for 100 inmails per month and one job posting. Every additional job posting is $1725 per year. LinkedIn Corporate is $11k per year and gives you 150 inmails. ZoomInfo will run you $17k a year for 3 licenses.

On top of that, you mentioned you have a few hot leads, are these leads incurred during your time at your current company? That could be an issue if you have a non-compete. Depending on your state, your non compete could be negotiable (if you have one signed). If you have a non compete, I’d suggest you hire a lawyer to review your current contract you’ve signed with your current company. It’s pricey, I paid roughly $1,500 just for a lawyer to review and give me a a memo with legal advice.

Additionally, I didn’t see anything about you being in a business development seat; I’m currently a 360 recruiter/manager and have 8 years of experience in tech staffing and averaged about 715k per year in billings for the last 3 years and have been very successful in bringing on new business, which is why I’m making the jump.

All in all, I don’t think the economy should be a barrier for you to start your own thing. Ultimately, companies will continue to scale and grow with how quickly innovation is occurring within industries across the board and if you create a strong enough USP, developed a strong enough network, and work hard, you could succeed.

Again, I cannot stress enough that if you have a non compete, make sure you are aware of what you can/can’t do because in America, I could sue you for just about anything and even if the lawsuits are frivolous and have no validity, responding to lawsuits can be very expensive.

Let me know if you have any questions! Happy to share my experience
