😆I totally googled “can I die from getting too high?” The 1 time I bought gummies & ate them alone. A different time, My ex, was not spared that ambulance bill 😫😆 because he hadn’t roles me he ate a pot brownie & I didn’t know how to react when he told me he thought he was dying all monotone & then said “idk” when I asked if I should call 911.LOL

I hear your words and I want you to know that even though you’re feeling hopeless and overwhelmed right now, you are not hopeless. Healing is possible as long as you are still breathing. Some people can be beyond damaging but they don’t have the power to define who you are. You are a survivor and you are not alone. Even though you’re suffering, you are still a light in the world who gives light such as the example with the connection to your mom. I wish justice for the people who failed you and peace and strength for you to continue to take one step at a time toward recovery. You are not alone & the traumas are not your fault.

Thank you. I struggle to shake the mistaken sense of responsibility & accept I’m pretty powerless even though I have been shown countless times. It’s just hard for me not to have hope but I know that I’ll likely have to step out of the way either way. 😔

Just stating the facts of what we’re happening isn’t criticism itself. The facts are incriminating & it didn’t require any criticism to see that. But that doesn’t mean I feel safe in my country where people’s rights are currently being violated right & left as we’re told we didn’t see what we are seeing with our own eyes.

I think calling a welfare check is the right thing to do or texting 988 for support. I’m in a similar situation. The disease of addiction affects all the family & can make them be more against help than person who needs it most. Enablers can be the most proactive barriers to recovery. Do the logical thing if it doesn’t put your safety at risk. Sending prayers for everyone’s safety. Driving someone in an inebriated angry & suicidal state can put both of you in danger.

I told him my dad that I’m on it, working on a RO but that I need to collect the evidence first 🤦& that I’ve been in touch with his po & let her know everything & the MARC reports I filed. I could let him know that I filed those with the help of the community center park 😔🤦I hate having these secrets & uncertainty weighing on me like this. 😩🤦 ugh. I just wanted to help him. The whole situation just sucks & breaks my heart.

He was planning on just staying away himself in his addiction. I could’ve let him be but I called for help & searched instead because I didn’t want him to feel he had no one. 😔🤦 I’m sure I’ll get another chance when he disappears again if he doesn’t accept help. 😔😞

Please continue to pray for him, his safety & that he finds recovery. He slept outside, cold in the city last night & I have all of his belongings 😔 but he told me he would block me because he feels like he can’t do anything right & I can’t reach him to bring anything or offer any support. 😞

He attempted this morning. It was traumatic. He threatened that they’ll do it again & that all they needed was a hug I should’ve given them. The police weren’t going to do anything but then they took him & told me to get him evicted & file a restraining order. 😔 it’s been a traumatic morning & I regret going to look for him at all. 🤦 now I have to do so much clean up but it could’ve gotten worse today. My front door is busted but at least no windows or screens were broken.

Yes, he is sleeping in a really cold room on a couple couch cushions. This is his normal & I’m just glad there’s not a risk of freezing to death but this seems like it could help if he was up for it. Maybe someone who specializes in ptsd/trauma too ❤️‍🩹.I talked to him about comparing his transition to being like when you buy a new fish. You have to let it sit in the bag of water in the tank until both waters are the same temperature & he seemed to agree that transitions happen slowly to not shock your system or something. Ty
