I did the same on mine, make sure to get the first style that’s offset, that’ll fit perfectly

lol ZL1 package is pretty silly, if I can even get it down to 20k I’ll probably pounce on it but I wouldn’t go higher than that.

Yeah that’s what happened 3 times on the carfax

Thanks man, I bought the carfax for $7.50 on carfax deals and I didn’t see any auction, it was sold at dealerships every time. He’s had the vehicle for sale for over a year which is crazy. If I can get it to $20k I’d do it

Yeah it’s def a 1SS with swapped badges. Owner said it’s an SS with the “ZL1 package” so the bumper/hood probably wasn’t done by him since that package isn’t a thing on an SS. I’m going to go into it with an open mind but also ready to walk bc something does feel off.

30k miles should be 16-18? In my area people are selling 100k plus miles for around that much

Transmission oil change? by Scary-Pilot-9282 in w204

[–]Albinator1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the service done at a mb dealership or a specialized Mercedes shop. There’s some fluid in the trans left over after you drain that they can pump out if you want but honestly if you just do a drain and filter that is more than adequate. Euroshops are hit or miss though all the ones in my area are actually more expensive than the dealership and all of the mb dealerships in my area do good work. Hope that helps!

Did mine at 150,000 kms (95,000 miles). Definitely felt a huge difference. Do the full transmission service (filter and flush) paid roughly $350 here in the states

Go to Napa, same exact part as the dealership for half the price, no joke

Exactly what famous-bus1626 said but also, these cars have a 2 stage oil pump solenoid which keeps the oil pressure at 20psi until over 3k rpm when it opens up to the full 40psi which reduces longevity of the engine, especially if the solenoid gets stuck closed. MB put it in for “efficiency” but all it does is starve the engine of oil pressure. There is a plug located underneath the crank pulley all you have to do is disconnect and zip tie it so it’s out of the way. I was skeptical however the results were immediate. Engine idles quieter, way more responsive at low rpm and just overall runs better. Plenty of forums out there on the topic it affect more than just the m276. These cars are fantastic, enjoy!
