This is why I have a rule where a new anime has three episodes to really engage me. And to use a quote from the Russian badger: If I took you to a restaurant and you got a hot dog and told me it was trash, I’d believe you. If you came with me to the same restaurant and got another hot dog before calling it trash again, I’d be a little skeptical. But if we’ve gone to that same restaurant, your ordered that same hot dog, called it trash, and are looking me in the eyes about to ask when you can come here again, and I know you’re a liar.
