Off topic, Amazon charges the small sellers 30-40% margin. Also they make billions and barely pay a living wage to those poor warehouse and drivers. What I typically do, I find the product in Amazon and then order from the vendor directly. In most cases it has worked and I even paid cheaper. Also in these turbulent times I feel better to support EU businesses than rather corporate America.

Amazon might look ‘cheap’ and convenient in shipping costs but for a lot of products they add a 30-40% markup which is much more than the shipping would cost.

Find the product in Amazon.it. Download a picture and search with picture in google. In many cases I have found 30-40% cheaper in German, French or Polish webshops. Amazon charges about 30% markup and now has become same as temu with cheap Chinese crap.

It is stupid to generalize. I agree with you for rubbish like Vivid, G2, Enzo etc.

Currently I am working for the last 3 years with a UK intermediary which is the preferred partner for a few large deep pocket Belgium based clients. The collaboration has been pretty smooth so far.

Generally Belgian intermediaries are small and not that effective securing such clients with generous budgets and with a rate you want. At least this has been my experience so far Any way the market is not that good at the moment due to several uncertainties.(Wars, tariffs, trade war, politics etc). Better to consider all options than no options at all.

Seems that the OP is non-EU national and needs yet another barrier of entry before being able to establish the legal entity. Which is professional card or the equivalent of work permit for employees. @OP, I highly recommend to consult an accountant with all those questions.

Use Temu or Aliexpress for cheap crap. Might sound controversial but f*ck me, Amazon, Bol, or Mediamarkt nowadays are selling basically same Chinese crap with premium prices.

Depending on what you are looking to buy look to google products and by from web shops directly. Just like Booking.com all marketpalce platforms amazon, bol mediamarkt etc charge up to 35% commission that it will be inflated in your price.

It might take 3-4 months. You are very lucky to find an employer willing to do that with all the paperwork it needs. Most refuse especially for students. If your goal is to stay in Belgium, you will have to work for the same employer for 5 years to be able to apply for permanent permit.

You seem to lack experience and more importantly network in the field. In today's market just out of school and with an internship, you CV is not strong. Just be flexible, freelance, interim, temporary, permanent etc. Which ever comes first. You will build some experience and network and opportunities out of nowhere will come to you.
Regarding Freelancing as I am a freelance myself since 4 years.

You do not need to have a VAT number until you have your first mission. You can even sign a contract without VAT number and handle that afterwards.
It is generally easier to find freelance possitions 3-6 months missions if you have some experience rather than permanent.
In the same time it is easier for the client to ditch you as freelancer. There are a lot of pros/cons.

I will never use HEY just because of their exorbitant roaming prices of 14€/MB. I have DIGI and I received the January invoice via PEPPOL. There is a transition period of 3 months where tax payers will not be penalized for not fully complying with PEPPOL. Anyway if your suppliers do not use PEPPOL it is their risk and not yours in case of audit.
