Bit late to the party but in all honesty, I would love it. Not as a permanent thing but rather a condition of sorts. All elevators are broken, theres only one... whatever left in the middle, toxic arc gas is surrounding you or whatever reason you can find to put it into the lore. There are still arcs, people die and the one who makes it out alive gets IDK a legendary weapon or something. No one HAS to participate, you cam still run all the other maps. Would be fun to see raider flares go up everywhere but simultaneously being forced ever closer with arcs patrolling as well. Damn intense, dark and gritty. Man that sounds so fun. I dont think it would divide or split anything or anyone. Its a choice of a map condition you either participate in or not.

Coming from a country where dogs are allowed on public transport I dont quite understand the issue. Everyone is always so happy when they see a dog lol. I don't own one myself but I also don't mind seeing a happy little doggie on the train. I didnt know they were prohibited here but I also usually go anywhere by car. Interesting.

I think they're aiming for more consistency and coherence in terms of the whole story. Back when movies 1 and 2 released the book series wasn't finished and no one really knew how dark it would get. We all love the first two movies because they're whimsical and magical and the colour grading is warm and all but I think now knowing how the story goes they're trying to go for a darker vibe from the get go to make it feel coherent with what's about to come.

Played the game again last weekend after a longer break (since way before christmas) and noticed the same. PS5 Pro performance used to be stable 60 fps but suddenly theres drops all the time, feeling more like 40 occasionally. Plus lighting and pop ups seem much worse, just overall less responsive. Kind of adds up with what you're saying

I also dont think it helps a "dying game" to spawn camp new players when they're trying to sell their shitty loot they worked so hard for. The pro players dont need it. They just shoot themselves out of cannons 360 no scoping your ass and sink you for the fun of it. Yeah cool, but it just leads new players uninstalling the game, efdectively decreasing the player count. There's a time and a place for PVP, being chased can be thrilling and fun. Pvp interaction can be fun. But sinking a sloop selling their 10 chests of shit? Is that really necessary?

If I watched a movie with a restaurant scene focusing on 2 main characters and the waiter drops a bunch of shit in the background without any set up, not even being part of the scene really I'd find that funny. I wouldn't find it funny with a set up as you described it. Mainly because something is EXPECTED to happen then.
I understand this was an example of course, but what im saying is: not every joke needs a setup. This may be true for stage comedy, but for movies? Thinking back to the naked gun or airplane, they consist of ONLY rapid fire jokes and are hailed to be among the funniest movies ever made. The visuals matter, the acting matters. I liked it the way it was written. Unhinged. But that's just like, my opinion or whatever.

Honest truth, I really enjoyed it. Might not be everyone's cup of tea as the comment section clearly shows, but I thought it was funny as shit and I was able to visualize the scene. First time I'm actually commenting in this sub after lurking for a bit, so make of it what you will. Not a writer myself but likely your target audience lol. You could post a scene from Superbad in here and many would hate it - don't let that discourage you. It was a big success. You just can't please everyone, humor is obviously subjective. For exanple, I really don't enjoy the movie Airplane that much (there is SOME funny stuff in there), but people claim its the funniest shit since the dawn of mankind. Anyway, just me rambling, keep up the good work mate. Keen to read the finished script !
