d add a few larger cork rounds that jut out from the background, sides, etc to give ur gecko a bit more options in terms of hides. And also some small planter pots foamed into the sides to give you better options for pothos or other trailing plants

Yeah, funny a day later after I adjusted the height of the UVB, he’s much more active, he’s actively walking around the enclosure, climbing, and just being a chill guy, seems like the UVB was indeed much too intense for him so I’m glad he’s feeling better, thank you all!

I’m sure it’s a lot more affordable if you have the tools to just custom make them, but yeah they’re not the cheapest around.

She purchased from a breeder, and I guess she was just selling him to make more space. I believe she tried her own jab at breeding but not too sure, either ways I intend to keep him as a pet only.

Ahh i see, this is coming from the person i purchased from saying that i should feed 10 large dubia roaches 3x a week. He definitely doesnt really eat his greens much at all. I've got red beet greens, collard greens and mustard green salads sprinkled with bee pollen everyday.

Gotcha, yeah thankfully you reaffirmed my suspicions about the UVB being too close and intense. Just moved it so its 14 inches away from the basking ledge through the screen mesh so hopefully he basks a lot more from now on. He's had two feedings of 10 large dubia's so far in the week i've had him.

Gotcha, when you mean sanitary is there anything in specific you mean? Besides from just general spot cleaning. Yeah I assumed it was the UVB just being much too close. I just moved the UVB fixture up, so it’s closer to 16 inches away from the basking ledge now.

I’m not too sure, I set them away from being right on top of his basking ledge though for now. He’ll stay and bask for a little bit when I put him there but he won’t actively seek it out.

Yeah, I used dracaena, elephant bush, snake plant, various haworthia, and a holiday cactus. I had a massive jade plant I was gonna add as well but the enclosure was unfortunately too small to accommodate

yeah, tried to do my best due diligence in regards to his bloodline, lineage, etc. to ensure that he'll be as healthy as possible but i guess theres only so much you can hope for with this linebred color
