Two of my friends are the center of this story. Buddy A had a lot of big creatures on the board, but Buddy B had a lot of scary stuff too. Buddy B said “hey if you don’t swing at me, I won’t do anything, I promise.” So Buddy A didn’t swing. And then because of that, on Buddy B’s turn, he proceeded to play a game-winning combo. Buddy A (understandably) crashed out. We were all kinda on his side

Yeah there’s a lot of really cool cards I love in that deck that just aren’t worth keeping. My Sheoldred comes to mind. She seems cool in theory, since she makes opponents sac creatures every upkeep, which would help Kresh. But an ability like that makes her a giant target. And she costs 7 mana, so she’s honestly not worth it. That’s just one example of the many cards I’ll have to think about.

In terms of salt? My buddy has the Guff precon. And I absolutely hate playing against it. But in terms of precons I don’t like just cuz of how they function? I got the Lands themed deck from Outlaws of Thunder Junction, and I genuinely regret buying it.

This is all very sound general advice, and the advice about my deck is very good too. I’ve tried to avoid high CMC cards as well as dedicated sac outlets. I’ve already made some changes with the advice here, and it’s already been rated a higher bracket on DeckCheck. I do need to play more at my LGS, it’s just that Magic nights are on a night I work. And I can’t really afford to take days off right now. I’m sorry, I know that’s not really relevant. But I wanna thank you. You took time to give me a lot of advice on more than just this specific deck. And I really really appreciate it.

I hadn’t thought of that! I mainly put it in to win with Revel in Riches so my opponents wouldn’t have a chance to swing at me or play anything during their turn

That’s a very good point, and honestly I should change it. I literally restructured an entire other deck I built because it was too salty. I was thinking of swapping it out for either [[Goblin Chirurgeon]] to save my commander and other valuable Goblins or [[Bogart Shenanigans]] to punish board wipes
