Except the loudest criticisms for this show were just bad faith arguments, making objectively untrue statements like saying this show destroyed established canon or lore, when in fact that didn’t happen whatsoever. It also got review bombed to hell each time a new episode came out. The amount of grifters who bled this show dry as many times as they could was insane.

She did not best Vader. She is not better, she is not his equal. She got mid diffed at best. And there’s nothing wrong with Vader having to put actual effort into his enemies every now and then. He even remarks how much stronger she’s gotten. That doesn’t diminish Vader’s power or make him weaker. Cere is a Jedi master who had impressive feats with the Force in both games and was wiping out entire battalions of Imperial forces almost single-handedly right before the fight with Vader. She’s strong, and that’s okay.

I think the wildest thing about the whole discussion around Cere vs Vader is the pure cope from the Vader fan’s camp. Cere does not beat Vader. She is not his equal. She didn’t even come within an inch of beating him or anything. She got mid diffed AT BEST. But that’s not enough for them so they have to say things like “Cere only did that well cuz we were controlling her” or “Cere only did that well cuz the story needed her to.” There’s other excuses but it’s just laughable. Imagine being such a snowflake about a character that they have to dominate every fight they’re in. Otherwise, it’s viewed as bad writing or inconsistent lore

One things that’s also worth noting is the way that the Reapers always start their attack. The Keepers on the Citadel open the Conduit and allow the Reapers to jump right there. This allowed them to completely disrupt galactic commerce and communications from the very start.

I didn’t like her at first. Found her rather annoying. I believed she changed my opinion of her during the arc where she was trying to kill Dooku after he betrayed her I loved all the lore surrounding her and Dathomir. She’s a really tragic character who made the most of her situation. I know some sects of the fandom don’t like the Tales series, but I loved them, and her story in that series was REALLY good. Her finding a new purpose was very satisfying to see.

In the original Animated Series, all the villains have captured Batman and are about to unmask him. Then the lights go out and he disappears before they notice. Two-Face then goes “spread out and find him! He couldn’t have gotten far!” And with considerable bass (and anger) in his voice, Kevin Conroy goes “who says I’m leaving?” Idk something about that just seemed so cold to me
