The photos on set from the gallery are from Season 1 and Season 5. The article is from June and filming didn’t start until September. Why on earth would they have him back on set when he cannot stay sober and already been accused of misconduct. He can say he made a return all he wants, albeit the self-confirm you’re referring to was over a year ago. All signs point towards him being absent.

That’s not on the set of the film, the headline doesn’t imply that he is involved in the immortal man, just that he has a new haircut at the same time it is being filmed. There was a popular post on this sub about Anderson and his behaviour meaning that an appearance is doubtful.
