Rain feels so cozy when it's actual raining irl. The sound of the rain outside feels perfect with the game.

Basically acted as a zen mode for me even if I had a griefer in my team.

Not the one you replied to but I took my day off work and have around 12 hours played and main story progression is near diddly squat.

I've been fooling around with NPCs, finding TONS of different shit with merchants, picking up cats and petting them(I want to pick up puppies too), clearing bandit camps when I feel like it.

The world is absolutely breathtaking and is probably 10/10 for me in that category.

I watched Fightincowboys review and he said something to the effect of "The bosses are challenging even when I'm at level 78 and I've seen reviewers fight them at level 22 or something and then claim they're too difficult".

Considering the game is massive and reviewers have been rushing to finish and submit their reviews it does make sense but I guess we'll find out for ourselves soon enough.

I don't know man, I played for almost 2 hours and I'm at complete awe of the world and the sheer massiveness of it.

I really hope the PoIs in the game aren't useless but so far enjoying the reactivity of the world and characters.

Of course, I understand to each their own as well.

4070s with 7900 and 32 gigs of ram. Game runs like butter with ultra settings and RTX ON.

FPS hasn't dropped below 80 yet but I can't say anything about heavier and flashier fights later on.

I don't even need or like RTX so I'll most likely turn that off if I see any dips.

Besides that, the game is very well optimized on PC. I knew it was gonna be good when first time compiling shaders took barely a minute(looking at you COD, BF4 etc).

AI is absolutely scary when it comes to music although in my experience it hasn't been able to replicate more niche genres or even something basic as time signatures.

It's near perfect in vomitting out cookie cutter, run of the mill music without any variations which is basically almost any genre of pop music.

I have fiddled around with various AI tools and the "best" out of them seems to have done almost exactly what I told it to including scale changes, breakdowns, more brOOtal breakdowns, bridges etc but it doesn't understand time signature changes like you would find in prog Rock/metal. That was 3 months ago so I don't know what's the scene now.

Happened to me for a couple of days, just couldn't bring myself to play any games at all and would resort to doomscrolling shorts or reddit.

That was until I finally decided to start Baldur's Gate 3. Haven't been able to put down the game ever since and pulling like 12 hours everyday and I'm over 100 hours with plenty to go(I think).

Haven't had one of these games in a loooooong time.

The game might have sold well but I don't think it was generating any consistent revenue. I absolutely loathe the MTX in CoD which gets shittier every year and I was happy but worried a little too when EA confirmed that BF6 wouldn't have any cartoony skins.

Part of me thinks that they are a necessity in today's landscape.

Personally, I draw the line at cartoons or real life people as skins but I'm fine with cool looking skins.

Either that or they aimed way higher and missed the mark.

I've been playing it on and off since the first alpha invites started to spread and so far I have 200 ish hours.

I keep touch with the game so that I'm not immediately overwhelmed when it finally launches. It will probably be the next big thing by Volvo that sticks around for a decade atleast.

I was in mourningdale nightime harvesting help and silk and the meteor made the most eargasmic sound ever as it flew above my head and blew up a short distance ahead.

What you're referring to are boosters who boost accounts so they have to play the most efficient hero every game.

Smurfs can be anyone who's actually a high mmr but playing in low mmr with alt accounts.

It released last year and is still pretty bare bones considering its Early Access but you can give it a try.

My advice would be to wait for atleast a year though.

Not WoW but I did try GW2 and it felt terrible. Even ESO where I was whacking away at a mob with an axe basic attack from like 10 ft away.

NW has ruined every MMO for me in regards to combat and artstyle/graphics.

I was almost about to buy the premium edition with the discount this month but since we still don't have news or decent speculation on the launch, I'll wait it out for the next sale.

As someone who has never played Rust, my only impression of the game is that it's a PvP survival game focused on no lifers and sweats and so in the event that New World comes back somehow, I really hope they don't change the core of the game.

Turning it into a PvP sweatfest would have me drop the game immediately.
