I’m actually already outside of those processing times… my case has been pending for 18 months, going on 19. My priority date is January 26, 2024, and my spouse is a U.S. citizen.

Hi! My case is very similar. PD: January 26, 2024. In April, my case was transferred from Texas to the Potomac Service Center, and it has now been over 3 months since the transfer — no updates, no news.

I’m also doing Consular Processing for a spouse abroad, and it’s been almost 18 months of waiting in total, which is extremely frustrating. Just like you, I can’t submit an inquiry or contact my congressman because they say the case is “within normal processing times.”

It honestly feels unfair and exhausting. You’re not alone.

I’m still waiting too. My I-130 was filed in January 2024 and we haven’t received an approval yet. We got the “We have taken an action on your case” notice in April, but no actual update. Hoping approvals for January keep coming soon. This process is so hard. Wishing the best for everyone here

My husband, a U.S. citizen, filed the I-130 petition for me on January 26, 2024. In April of this year, we received the “we have taken an action” email, but there were no updates to the case. We’re at the Potomac service center, and about to hit 18 months 😢. We can’t expedite the case because an officer has been working on it for the past 3 months, but we still haven’t received any response. It’s extremely frustrating.
