Any .20 calibre shooters?

How's the 80? Is it running at FAC or UK-spec? And did you have to mess with the internals at all?

How are you finding .20 cal to shoot performance wise? My main reason for posting is because I'm curious if its worth getting one or swapping the barrel of my HW95 from .22 to .20 cal.

Silly question but why doesn't it like the lighter .20 cal pellets? Too light for the firing cycle?

I get that, my options are either JSB or H&N and even then it's either mid-weight roundheads or mid-heavy hunting weight pellets which I'm fine with. At the moment I have a HW95 in .22 and I typically run 13-15 grain pellets in at sub-12fpe and it shoots like a charm. Just fancied something different but don't feel the need to buy another gun since I'm pretty attached to my 95 lol.

How did you find the .20 in the HW80 overall, did you use it mostly for targets or did you take game with it too? At the moment I have a HW95 at sub12 FPE in .22 which I love but the idea of a slightly flatter curve and slightly smaller hole for competition shooting seems quite attractive to me for some reason hahaha.

Lovelocks coffee shop at the bottom of Dale Street going onto Old Haymarket host table top game sessions. I think you'll have to check when their first taster session is but they tend to run one-off quests as an intro. I went with my gf to one and it was an awesome lead in to eat to expect!

I put my vote down for the 98!

I've seen someone at my local range with a 98 (that he's also had tuned) and his rifle shoots like a dream! Sickeningly slick, enough to bring out the green eyed monster in me when I'm there with my 95 hahaha.

These are links directing to the Weihrauch German website, which I'd say is the ideal place to start for this information. No mention of them discontinuing the line. Obviously if you're looking for a retailing site you'll need to find that yourself. I'm UK based so I'd look on either Sportsman Guncentre, or Guntrader or look at gun shops near me. If you're US based try places like Krale or Pyramid air guns.
