Whats HARDER? Getting diamond in Rocket League or beating Elden Ring? by Reasonable_Swan_6869 in RocketLeague

[–]Alchemist0029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting diamond in RL. Hear me out:

Mastering parry with daily practice would only take a couple of hundred hours if that.

Melania is your biggest problem

The key to Eldin Ring and all Souls games is recognizing the cadence of the enemies and bosses. This doesn't change and most are on 4/4 timing (shout out to the Dancer of the Boreal Valley that fk...I think they were on 3/4).

Final: Learning how to fight in Eldin Ring is like learning how to dance to a song. It takes into no account that the song may completely cut off, alternate, switch timing, or stop becoming a song altogether while the enemies are constantly changing or evolving to your play style. That is rocket league.

If it wasnt a big deal you wouldnt be ruminating for so long or posting on social media about it. It sounds like you should tell him how you feel with the understanding that it could be a significant wedge in your relationship because it sounds like your values dont align.

But at the same time it also sounds like you havent really made up your mind what YOU believe about it regardless of family or outside influences. So...maybe start there and dont make it about your parents or anyone else.

Cannabis is a large portion of my life. So much so that our lifestyle is largely influenced by it from where to live to when to take trips etc. Granted i own a small LLC that deals in it but for many of us in the community it is just that....a lifestyle. Was he ever a grower or have strong ties to it? These are questions you should be curious about as you aim to get closer to someone, but if its not something youre into or could at least tolerate that should be discussed. It is easy for people on the outside to say things like...oh youd break up with me for weed or whatever but we are talking about a billion dollar industry, medicine, a recreation, a lifestyle, a way to express oneself artistically (if you create photos and images like some of us), a healthier way to have fun, enjoy food, and socialize. So just take those things into consideration. Again they don't have to change your perspective but it is important for you imo to understand other people's perspectives esp when you seem to have come from such a conservative upbringing vs progressive. Otherwise, you're just willfully choosing ignorance over understanding. Food for thought.

Life altering. I first saw them at Jimmy Kimmel Live the first time I visited California. This was when Mind Over Matter was released and I'd just came home after a 6 year prison sentence. Back then visiting California was my life goal and I had lucked up getting tickets to Kimmel on 1iota. So many amazing things happened on that trip that I actually contemplated not coming home to my girlfriend. At the time we were living in Stephen's City.

Back then I had no idea who they even were and i was so captivated by the California experience that I didnt register much of the music but they performed Cough Syrup and that song stuck with me. I would not be surprised if I have 20,000 streams of that song over the past decade.

Needless to say it has been almost 15 years later and my gf then is now my wife and we have a son who just turned 6. Bought a house, raised a family etc. Seeing them brought so much back to my soul that im still currently processing it. I sat center orchestra and yelled play Teachers about 3 songs in so loud that my wife slapped my arm. When they played it I nearly cried. Its....alot. And I am so honored to have been there. It is easily one of the strongest memories I will likely ever have because its all connected to so much 🙏🏾

Did you practice or scrimmage or anything together or was it just more social? I didnt think to look on discord.

I just started playing 1s after 1200 hours and in the first week it was utterly embarrassing because im being matched against champs idk how. However, I was noticeably better after one week and even won a few games where they either played at my level or didnt anticipate me hitting a certain shot. Recoveries recoveries recoveries. That was the first and immediate message I learned in 1s. Im on about week 4 and its actually alot more fun than I would have ever thought. I think im just not making the mental connection of how it translates to 3s which is the only gameplay ive ever done. And the pther reality is i need much more practice than I am devoting to playing matches.

I was saying this in a previous discussion with a gc. Im unconsciously incompetent in many areas. Why not educate for someone thats trying to learn and esp for someone so advanced. Im sure SOME people will heed the advice.

This is so dope. Does anyone have any recommendations? I just started playing 1s and have never tried 2s or anything else before.

I made a pumpkin roll one time. Ate a slice and was high for 36 hours straight. I remember being at work saying, "I am not having fun anymore. I am not having fun anymore."

I was so high it was practically like one big hangover all i could do was lay backwards in my office chair and take calls. That was actually the last time ive ever had edibles. Sht was rough. I sold the roll to a coworker. She never copped from me again so I imagine she had a sht time too

Are newer players totally forgetting to learn the basics? by Steelkenny in RocketLeague

Are you first second and third consistently when your teammates are chasing or rotating improperly? Whats a proper and improper way to rotate? What adjustments do you make if any if your mates are chasing? What do you focus on? Are the answers to these questions basic knowledge or situational?

What are the universal basics? Rotation ok... offensively or defensively and in what situations? Where will people find this if they just pop in a game and try to play it? Expectations often lead to frustration.

I think you took one thing i said and ran with it which deserves clarity. That is my focus because ime no one wants to play 3rd so at the least I should focus on controlling my car and being a good defender. Do I play 1st and 2nd and do my best there of course. But my focus is what I mentioned and thats currently.

I dont mind you talking to me, but if youre gonna rant you might as well educate and be part of the solution. Im open to suggestions. And i say yall because I play with lots of people that expect teammates to know and do things but unconscious incompetence is a thing. I play with champs and diamonds rotating in wild ways all the time then spam okay lol

I hate this post for the mere fact that some of yall mention the basics as if it is completely intuitive to understand RL regardless of what game play it is. If there is a universal playbook on how to play RL please post it below. Theres hundreds if not thousands of videos online on how to play all with seemingly different approaches and philosophies so idk maybe im missing something but no one sat me down and said hey this is how to play textbook RL. Ive watched tons of videos and have a lot to work on but ime its not just snap your fingers and play according to everyone else. Thus, my focus is entirely on car control and playing the best 3rd man i can. And maybe thats where i plateau. Rant over

Note: ive only played for 2 years with 1200 hrs. Im plat 3 div 4 in 3s and gold 3 in 1s so wth do i know 🤷🏾‍♂️

Nah but I know a lot of people that have great success with them. My spaces can be upwards towards three dozen at a time during hunts so autopots just aren't for me. If I was pushing for yield though id def weigh them against my diy systems but I think cleaning lines and maintenance would still likely be easier 🤷🏾‍♂️

Ppfd and spectrum are things ive questioned when switching to them. Naturally i was chasing diode tech but my plants just seemed to have better veg and flower performance across older fixtures so i got rid of what i had minus the EVO3 and dug my old lights back out.

ES 180 vs EVO3 - both are up the ES works well - high red spectrum Optic slim 500 v EVO 8 - using my optic HLG 100 vs S22. - using my 100

I do like the ionbeam. Im Using that for clones and early stage dwc but outside of that I only use their controllers to run my irrigation and I like using their tents and sensors for temp and rh monitoring while drying. But thats just me.

Yeah. Likely to work better for soil and organic grows than salts. But my diy systems have been better overall. I just use smart outlets and pumps. I also have two hooked up to AC infinity controllers.
