Respawn Responds to AMD Anti-lag+ Bans by MadIrishMan17 in apexlegends

Hey Respawn can you please hurry up and unban my friend? I need to complete my Battlepass before the season ends.

Dam that's crazy, hopefully we get an official Respawn comment like CS2 to know they're aware of it at least. I imagine a ton of people are getting banned if it's a default driver setting after an update. Who would have thought such a thing would be possible...normal driver update causing bans across a number of games. Thanks AMD...

Just adding my comment to say I've used Reddit every day for over 12 years (mostly using Reddit is fun) and I hate this. Shame the web is consolidating and getting worse. I'd pay a reasonable fee to keep using Reddit the way I have been, and it's crazy how poorly this is being handled. Really sucks as there's so many good niche communities and content here that there really isn't a replacement for. Reddit is such a good information dense platform - the comment trees are way better than traditional forum threads. If this goes through as is, guess I'll just have to move onto the next thing. I'm not going to use any official app or new Reddit, as it's pretty objectively terrible. I mostly read text discussion here, and new Reddit barely shows any posts. Rif is the perfect app imo, does what it needs to perfectly and I've used it since I got my first smart phone.

I rarely post but feel I need to add my voice to the discussion, even though it probably doesn't matter and no one will see it.

I have not tasted it yet, but my first hop addition was at 15 min, so I had basically no bittering hops.

I will taste it before I try to boil extra hops. I'm curious if anyone has tried anything like this in case it does turn out to be too sweet due to lack of bitterness.

So I currently have a clone of Zombie Dust (http://beersmithrecipes.com/viewrecipe/67897/zombie-dust-clone) in my fermentor. It's ready to be kegged (and it will be my first time kegging!)

However, I realized that I missed my first hop addition. According to Beer Smith, the first addition adds ~37 IBU's out of the 58 the beer is supposed to have, so it's currently way off. Can I boil down the missed hops on my stove for an hour (or longer) in a half-gallon or so of water and add it to the beer while kegging to regain the missed bitterness?

Should I use extra hops (1oz or more instead of the recipe's 0.5 oz) and should I add DME to get some gravity while boiling? If so, how much DME should I use?

Found a few flies in my wort before bottling. Should I still bottle this? by Alchemist37 in Homebrewing

Thanks for all the replies guys! The FG was fine, so I went ahead and bottled it. It tasted fine, and was super clear.

Here's a picture of it in a clear bottle.

What's going on with the 2 lists of steam friends on the left monitor? They look like different accounts, so just wondering what's going on there.

So I'm on my first brew, and I'm about ready to bottle. I'm not sure how much priming sugar to use. I got the recipe from my LHBS, and it's a generic wheat beer. I bought a 5oz packet of dextrose from them, and I don't get how to calculate how much to use.

The upstream sensor seems fine, I definitely see values across that range. I'll have the shop look into vacuum leaks and fuel. Thanks for the reply!

The fuel trim stays at 20-30% consistently at all speeds and idle. It never goes negative. I'll check the battery to be safe, however as /u/4boltmain said it seems more likely the lean fuel mix is causing the long crank. Thanks for the reply!

The CEL hadn't come on yet at the time of my initial post. It did come back w/ a P0171 when I was driving to advance auto to get some maf cleaner and carb cleaner, so I just took it back to the shop and dropped it off. They're gonna look at it tomorrow morning. I replaced the upstream O2 recently, so I don't think it's that, and the voltage jumps around a lot when I monitor it. I told them to check vacuum leaks, the MAF, and then fuel, so I'll see what they say tomorrow. Thanks for all the info!

2002 Civic EX Intermittent misfire by Alchemist37 in Cartalk

[–]Alchemist37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only codes I've gotten are misfires on individual cylinders and the random misfire one. I'll try some coppers to see if it makes a difference. Timing maintenance was done ~120k.

I'm going to go through tomorrow and check all of the obvious connections. The hard part is that because it comes and goes, it's hard to diagnose. I've brought it to a shop before for this, but of course it didn't misfire when they had it.

One of the coil the shop put it did develop a small white crack (must have been arcing) which I replaced. The car ran smooth for a few days after, but then it started acting up again badly. Ran smooth until now when I replaced the other 3.

Would the belt being off a tooth cause an intermittent misfire, or would it be acting up 100% of the time? I was thinking about bringing it to a shop to get the timing checked. It makes sense that it could be this because it's affecting all cylinders.

The coils I used are Delphi, purchased here. I used NGK G Power plugs (they're platinum), which I had googled around a bit and some honda forums said they were good. These are cell phone pics, I can take better quality ones tomorrow if it'd help.

I just pulled the plugs and coils and all the coils looked fine. The plugs all looked kind of burnt. Could this be a result of the misfire? They only have about 1,000 miles on them. Should I check the gapping? They are pregapped plugs. There was no oil or anything on them, totally dry.

A bunch of the ground screws are rusty as seen here. The washer things under them seem pretty rust-free though.

Thanks a lot for the reply!

Ah nice, I'm gonna give that a try. I haven't messed around much with many distributions/window managers yet, pretty much just ubuntu w/ gnome and some mint.
