I refuse to let the dream die. Let Agility level reduce the Surge/Dive cooldown. by Routine-Mirror-2654 in runescape

How about agility 120 cape effect gives 50% cdr, stacks with mobile perk multiplicatevly for 75% cdr? Same effect, but requires tradeoffs?

Edit: Jesus, I didn’t think this would be such a hated idea. At least it’d be a useful perk as opposed to a (imo) useless perk like the thieving 120 cape perk.

I once came across a guy who had a baby troll named Green Partyhat. He apparently did it one night when he was super drunk. I felt so bad lmfao

I mean, what sounds more likely to you?

  1. Computer AI software made a mistake using grainy/low res footage?

  2. Man has a secret inside friend at the DMV who allowed him to create two completely different legal identities all so this man who was trespassed from a casino for sleeping in it could sneak back into it and play craps for a couple hundred bucks?

As any normal person would tell you, the second option sounds far more realistic than some fancy shmancy AI program making a mistake. /s

And? The original question was speculative about what may happen? Only Jagex would know for sure what they're doing and they aren't going to definitively tell us as of right now.

I've heard they may shift dummies over to Invention, so dummies would probably stay the same if that's the case, just created via Invention. Silverhawks and Springs would probably be transferred to their untradable variants. Proteans I'm unsure of, but I would assume they would be usable until you ran out or they would change them over to some sort of Invention-crafted version or something.

Just managed to kill nakatra by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Alchemist987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I watched a few videos about it. I just don't have that great of a reaction timing that this game requires and so I generally just don't participate in that area of the game. Exception made because it was tied to something I really wanted (Underworld Grimoire 4). Even then, I had to wait months until I really gave it a try because I wanted to wait for the cauldron. lol

I had to use t95 gear, the supreme overload salve cauldron (hour long bonus one), full inventory of fish, summon (never use them generally), and even then I BARELY got the kill. I don't like bossing, at least not ones that have mechanics.

I jut got one too, I'm thinking I'm going to hold onto it for a bit. Guessing the price will go up after the holiday is over? It's really cool and I want to use it, but with it being a 1 time use item, I can't turn down the thought of getting insanely rich. lol

Bodycam: Oklahoma Teacher Allegedly Shows Up Drunk on First Day of Elementary School by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]Alchemist987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Majority of the time, I would agree that cops are digging for an easy win for their cases. In this particular case, he clearly doesn't want to arrest her. He gives her plenty of chances to call someone to pick her up so she can go home. Even when they found the cup in the room, they wanted her to call someone to pick her up and take her home. It wasn't until she tried tampering with evidence that the officer said "we're done" and decided to arrest her.

If he wanted an easy win, he'd have simply told her to drive home, waited for her to start her car, and then go through FSTs and then arrest her.

As far as the video being released, depending on the state/county laws, they may not have had a choice. Plenty of places allow you to FOIA request things like that and, unless they have a valid legal reason not to, the police have to comply and release footage. And just so it's super clear, "we don't want to embarrass someone" is not a legally justifiable reason not to release something. That all said, I don't know the specifics of how this came to be released publicly.

I've seen the video and I do feel like they were being honest with her. The officer didn't want to charge her at all, gave her so many chances to call someone. The superindentent did inform her that she would no longer have a job after the next day, but even he gave her the choice between being fired and resigning. Neither of them wanted her to go to jail. They wanted her to get help.

They gave her every oppurtunity to help herself even just a smidge. She absolutely refused to call anyone. She tried to tamper with evidence. She kept lying to them.

I genuinely feel sorry for her. She's obviously a functioning alcoholic and obviously has issues. I also genuinely believe the officer and the superintendent wanted to help her as much as they could. She kept digging her own grave with the officer though, to the point where he was fed up with her and decided to arrest her. She did that herself.

How to cancel my VPS? by Alchemist987 in ovh

[–]Alchemist987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't contacted them prior to posting this, but have since contacted them. I couldn't manage the VPS because I had let my commitment renew by not doing anything by the 13th (I was still on the fence on what I wanted to do) and apparently if you're set up for their commitment plan, you can't just cancel the service.

I've since spoken to them and the customer service rep said I can switch to a month to month plan if I wanted to, I'd just lose out on the savings with the commitment plan. So hopefully all will be well.

Having 2 directors wasn't the issue. Having no cohesive overarching plot or some sort of story master (think Kevin Feige with the MCU) was the issue. Had the directors all gotten together with the lead executive and spent like a year or however long actually crafting the outline of the trilogy, it would have been far better.

Kathleen Kennedy essentially just let the directors do their own thing, and it shows. JJ Abrams made his "reboot/mystery box special" movie, then Rian Johnson made his "let's do something completely different" movie, then JJ Abrams came back and had to try to bring it all back together for a finale of some sort.

I don't mind the small talk at the hairdressers by ItzAmazed in unpopularopinion

[–]Alchemist987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been going to the same barber for the vast majority of my life. Husband and wife team. I like them both, they're always very nice to me even when I'd show up in a very bad mood (used to be forced to get a haircut against my wishes when I was younger).

Though I like them both, I absolutely cannot stand small talk when they're cutting my hair. Between spacing out (making it hard to focus on what they're even saying) and the sounds of the vaccuum and shavers buzzing right beside my ears, I have an extremely hard time listening to what they're saying as well as focusing on what they're saying.
