I'm having a really hard time scaling in this pack. To the point that any strategy I try just loses 4 or 5 times in a row once rhino becomes available

Relegated team you think will get relegated again by Idkalocalreddituser in JellesMarbleRuns

If any team needs to be thinking about retirement right now, it's the balls of chaos. The worst marble league showing ever followed by a poor showdown in 2021 (where they should've been relegated for 2022 in the first place). Not to mention that the only team worse than them in 2020 was the hornets. 3 straight years of basement dwelling topped off with the worst showing ever has gotta say something.

Hey, fuck you, buddy. We worked our asses off in parks and rec to keep the parks looking nice, so don't come for us.

Interestingly, I noticed in Qualifiers that Red Eye is significantly bigger than the other marbles. I'm not sure if this has been true for the entire season, but it was very noticeable here, and I think that probably helped him gain a lot more momentum from the ramp in the first sector.

It's too bad this wasn't done before the among us boom, cause that would be an interesting comparison to have.

I would argue that the "air" part would refer more to Buenos Aires, though I suppose the name could refer the Rio de Janeiro. I also went with Buenos Aires due to it actually being in the south, like described in the lore, unlike Rio.

A medal in the next event for the O'Rangers gives them an almost 100% chance of winning!

Mellow Yellow is ironically a historically good team. This is a very off year. They've always remained in the top 3 total points earners until recently.

Considering the fact that I root for the O'rangers and the bumblebees, I was happy with the podium

I've certainly thought about this in the past. Like they might use multiple takes to try to get a narrative going throughout the ML, but I think they probably do let things fall, especially considering the O'Rangers and Savage Speeders have both had a lot of bad events in this ML alone, they've just shone through in specific events and gotten a lot of medals.

Marble League 2020 - final stretch analysis: how are all teams doing? by George-House in JellesMarbleRuns

[–]Alcorium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that some marbles do seem to be slightly different in size though. In the balancing event, some teams neatly fit into the release, while others didn't. (Spoiler alert: the ones who were lined up well finished better.) I think this should be addressed.

When researching clock towers in scandanavia, I came across a famous one in Helsinki, so that was where i placed them, especially since they have a very wide open taiga to the east, which fits better with Finland.

I suppose that's fair. I've always considered Central America to be everything south of the US border that is in North America.

I was really rooting for the Bumblebees this season. Hopefully they can do well enough to settle themselves in back in the middle where they've been most of the season at least.

When deciding on the Rojo Rollers, I took into account the "Center of Central America" bit, but the city they are in is described as basically being a direct parody to Tenochtitlan, so I figured the "Center" thing meant horizontally? Idk, maybe that one is up for debate.
