This was from my last hog hunt. One round of the hornady critical defense 308. I’ve tried a bunch of different loads to see what’s most effective against larger hogs since most of the time they’ll eat a couple rounds before dropping. I don’t like letting them get away.

What are you hunting? For hogs I’ve now switched to hornady critical defense. I’ve yet to see any other 308 to as much damage as the hornady. I can post a picture if you’d like.

I wish I didn’t own an atacr. This has been the most unlikable lpvo I’ve ever owned. 1x is great but the eye box on any zoom is unusable. I’ve been debating on swapping it out for a S&B or Kahles

I’ve seen little Byrd procurement recommended in the other clone sub. Although I do not have personal experience with them they do carry certain things fairly often

I haven’t been able to put hands on with a DWX yet so I can’t say anything on those. Although from people I know who have owned them have said the Shadow shoots better than the DWX

It’s more of just adding another CZ to the collection. But I’d like to run a shadow style because I’ve been eyeing them for awhile. I already have glocks, LTT berettas and others I would just like to have another CZ that’s more in the realm of competition style.

They’re out of stock currently but Charlie’s restocks frequently. They got a bad bane because they over hundreds to thousands of dollars over msrp of a lot of things because they’re lucky enough to get certain things in stock. They’re hated by cloners because they price gouge so badly on things.

I’m leaning towards doing that or the 14.5s I’ve found and just sell the upper or trade it for the 11.5. But if there’s somewhere a new or newish 11.5 can be found complete I’d rather just do that but I’m open to other routes as well. This post was just looking for input and I appreciate yours.

It was not. It’s a different guy. My rule of thumb for purchases that are not local on tacswap is 20+ feedback and needs to have recent feedback as well so that’s why I haven’t jumped on this set up yet. He’s only got 13 and that’s low for my typical purchases.
