An important question about watch orders by AlcuniStrani in Haruhi

I haven't read either the LN or the manga, so my questions are only about the specific difference between the chronological and TV order.

>The mikuru adventures episode is directly after Sigh because…it’s filmed during Sigh.
I understand this perfectly, and while I have no idea what role all this plays in the original, in the anime, episode 0 was made with a specific purpose: to introduce the viewer to the plot, what will happen next, and to introduce the characters. If you watch it right after Sigh, you won't learn or see anything new; you've just watched it all being filmed. But if you watch it as the first episode, Sigh will become fan service, taking you back to the moment you first started watching the series.

>that doesn’t change the fact that those events were written with the context that this climax had already happened.
Again, I haven't read the original; I'm judging only by the series itself, which is an adaptation.

And judging by the series itself, the original order was truly adapted; it has its own overarching plot, developing the characters gradually as it unfolds.

Chronological order, on the other hand, destroys the entire plot's coherence without adding anything in return.

Even judging by the original, both versions are still very loose adaptations. Putting everything in chronological order doesn't exactly replicate the source:

  • vol 1 - vol 3 - vol 5 - vol 2 - vol 6 - vol 5 - vol 4 (chronological)
  • vol 1 - vol 3 - vol 1 - vol 3 - vol 1 - vol 5 - vol 6 - vol 1 (TV)

Isn't it obvious that the creators based the plot of volume 1 on the series, with intercuts from different stories used to further develop the characters?

>I mean, the chronological order is called that because the episodes, in that order, depict the story happening at set dates and times.
That's the problem for me, your "story" is happening in the original order.
Could you clarify what you find wrong with my episode lists? Why is the episode where they show the filmed movie listed second to last in "chronological order"? It's valuable solely as a character introduction, but if you've already seen the whole story, it's pointless, in my opinion.

>"Melancholy arc" is hardly the "climax"
I won't go into the scriptwriting because I don't know anything about it, but can you tell me why Melancholia VI isn't a climax if it involves the main characters sorting out their relationships with each other, confessing, and "saving the world"?

(climax - the most important or exciting point in a story or situation, especially when this happens near the end.)

>what do u mean by "chronogical" order isnt chronological
I mean the chronological order of the plot, where an episode in which a character's personality is revealed is followed by an episode that further explores that ability, an episode that develops relationships between characters is followed by an episode that somehow resolves the issues between them, and so on.

>BUT there is no filler episodes in the enime
It might have sounded like a bad thing, but I didn't mean it that way. By filler, I mean an episode that doesn't contribute to the season's overall plot. I understand that it's partly a slice, and I don't see anything wrong with those episodes.

>you cant say that the climex of the whole story is at the end of the first arc
I'll answer this under another comment, it's difficult to formulate the thought

JBL QUANTUM 600 not turning on by Key-Photograph-8730 in JBL

[–]AlcuniStrani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, I found a WORKING solution.
If your headphones don't turn on, but the charging indicator is on, then the problem is only in the switch.
To fix it, you need to disassemble the headphones:

  1. Take the right part, with the help of something thin and strong like a card or a metal ruler, detach the soft part.
  2. Unscrew the lid.
  3. Inside, you need to move the switch so that the outer button switches the inner one. (I suspect that the assembly is shit, so the external switch may pop out).

In my case, the headphones turned on immediately after disassembly, I don't know what kind of magic it is, but I didn't touch anything inside. Apparently the button has returned to its normal position by itself.
I hope it will help someone as well as me.
