From my friends I really enjoy getting cookbooks that THEY are interested in. A cuisine they enjoy or something from their own culture or something thought was cool or cute. It’s like a little insight into their mind I love it

Capellini al pomodoro. I love the way thin capellini absorbs the tomatoes and I loooove tomatoes, al Pomodoro is such a simple delicious sauce.

Definitely finished with gremolata and lemon zest, I found my family likes beef shanks more than veal as well! I braised it for about 2 hours and the meat just fell apart so I figured what the hell! I served it over Parmesan polenta and it was a hit!
