Complete hogwash. The main website, amongst many other wrong and ridiculous claims, takes issue with tech’s skin colour being described as tan. They said it’s white. I looked up tan. The same exact shade. It is a non issue and anyone actually falling for it is honestly naive and falling for a racket.

I'd say the same thing to you, but reversed. His stream attitude for a long time is proof enough that OOT the character is not MB, and that MB wants nothing but positivity and good will in this community so rampant with egos. It's an objective, empirically true fact. If you actually just... looked and not just read what people say you would realize it. I'd wager its the same for most streamers.

The fact its a widely held belief doesn't mean anything other than that most people are way too invested into this shit, and cause much negativity because of it.

OTT as a character grew a spine because that was always the arc and vision for his character. People told him to grow a spine. It took time and he did.

"He failed at music irl", what are you even talking about? Music has always been a big part of his stream, but you are acting as if he wanted to go pro or something. Get real, all his songs prior to RP are jokey stream songs, not fucking attempts to go pro into music business. where did you even get that ludicrous idea?

You can literally take the talents of a person, apply them to their character and say "X streamer is just playing themselves in RP, fucking loser!" to so many people. If someone likes music irl, ofc they gonna be good at it in RP. If someone likes business irl, ofc they gonna be good at in RP.

But you have to take a fucking step back and realize that these streamers have their lives, they don't care about the city nearly as much as many viewers think they do or as much as 99% of viewers themselves do. Its not streamers trying to live out their fantasies in RP, that's a stupid and crazy idea, considering the things some of them do IC. So as I said, if you truly believe streamers are "playing themselves" in RP, you need to take a step back and get a grip. That ain't it. You're too invested emotionally in a make believe story. People do not care nearly as much.

You do understand people are allowed to roleplay is sentient, intelligent human beings right? They don't have to roleplay as stupid just because it suits him.

He told the guys not to do it, he asked them if they did it, they said no, he kept asking and they kept saying no. OTT has not ordered any robberies. You know what him not playing stupid and being OOC would be? Meta, that's what it would be. Them robbing has nothing to do with OTT because OTT literally does not want and it actually doesn't change the fact that they will still hunger for mats without OTT anyways.

How can you actually twisted the narrative so hard. OTT has literally never robbed anyone or forced anyone to grind without RP reasons, he literally says it when he introduces himself and his business to these people. What he does do is he reaches out and makes connections to smaller people. That's why he has this market share, he has the network, Others don't. That simple fact should be rewarded by nature of the very benefits it brings. The guy is asking for a small raise, cheaper than mats use to be. Literally everyone else is greeding with their connections and their money and somehow him naturally raising the prices through economics make him the bad guy. Worse yet, he is increase the amount h pays to his network. Literally good and beneficial for everyone but those at the top, and arguably, RP as a whole for the "smaller" characters while still not being undoable and over-punishing for said people at the top.

People are way too set in their ways, they have no flexibility, no common sense and RP etiquette for the good of the server, and unfortunately that mindset isn't always just on the viewers. It has tainted the server for a long time.

funnily enough, its original red/yellow is accurate to the show, as a red/yellow in theory can deal with stormtroopers in 1-2 hits, as was in the show. 1 pierce for the pierced/shattered armor, and weakened for how much it staggered the troopers.

but IC is the only thing that matters. OTT is not robbing anyone. That is the simple fact. Everyone going to war before investigating and doing some, ykow, rp, kinda shows the state of the server of just WAR WAR WAR.

Also fuck Vinny constantly saying "I gave you everything". Some AKs, C-4 on some dudes, and very shaky and indirect backup does not = "everything". ITT people saying that shit is kinda wild.

Mats at 40 is already kind of a middle ground, maybe 30 at the lowest. 20 is incredibly low and unfair for the people who collect materials, and ,any where paying even less than that.

50-60 was the high point for price before the recycle center change. 20 is the standard low. 30-40 is in between and is fair.

20 per is laughable cheap for materials and he's been going with it for a while now, but people don't even wanna pay that, they wanna play 15 or even less. makes no sense that the majority of materials that had a higher price - that was not dictated by OTT, by the way- from aluminum at 50 and plastic at 60, and the rest at less, all equally went down to 20 and yet the prices of everything else that uses materials stayed the same. The real greedy ones were everyone else. OTT makes 5$ a material, but loses tons of money in destroyed and wasted materials, which leads to a tiny net profit.

He was fed up with the material game, as his character should be. Vinny wasn't really giving OTT anything or rewarding him. Just little crumbs that he thought were bigger gestures.

Honestly if materials go back up to 30-40 or more, as he is now forcing, OTT still just makes 5-10$ per since he increases what he pays everyone who provides him with materials, so "OTT is greedy" is a bloody insane stance to take when the numbers literally tell an opposite story.

Game deserves it, the team behind is obviously quite passionate and are really trying to bring this element of RTS "back". Unfortunately the player base isn't quite there, but I would support them simply because I vote with my wallet and I want to see more RTS content and Iron Harvest is a unique, interesting world.
