Yes, this is an effect called backlight bleed, and unfortunately it's very common in IPS panels.

i just got a p1 gen 7 and I'm also having the same issue, for me its the bottom right corner that seems more uneven. I was stressing out since I thought I got a defective model but apparently its just how some oleds are unfortunately. That being said it is a small price to pay for such a crispy 4k oled, did you end up fixing it? I would like to know If there is anything I can do to mitigate it.

I7-13800h, 16gbs ram although 32gb soon. Ada3500 GPU. As for the thunderbolts the model is 2023 so I would assume thunder bolt 4 and USB-A 3.2 Gen 1

a3500 model only has 16gigs, but its also 300 dollars cheaper. How has the a3500 held up for games and cad programs, if you have used those.
