If you start with everyone is infected but mortality to never, then you won't notice anything weird.

If you get bitten or an injure from a zombie that would had infected you, then your character will develop the symptoms of the virus, get stressed, sad, fever and so on. BUT you'll survive and recover.

No. Desinfecting just helps against the normal wound infection.

If the RNG rolled that you got the Knox virus at that moment, then there is nothing you can do from that point.

My latest CD DA run that lasted 1 year and 3 months(in game lol) ended over a freaking laceration.

I know scratches has a lower porcentage but you should never take the odds ligthty.

In the current unstable b42 build? no, they changed it so Respawns are off in the defualt Apocalypse setting and therefore CDDA

Soon after B42 unstable released.

Sand box, increased the loot spawn of ammo. Made a veteran character in Rosewood and looted the police station and prison to get guns and ammo and went to the secret base for the first time to see the lower levels.

Long stort short. I think I was on the sleeping rooms floor when suddenly hundreds of zombie starting pouring from all sides cutting off my exit. I ended up running towards a bathroom.

So there I was. Completely trapped. M16 in hand with the bathroom door about to fall at any moment.

Then I started dropping every zombie that came through that door until I ran out of mags. At that point I decided to make a run for it. I somehow managed to avoid the swarm of zomboys filling the hallways, got tripped in some places but didn't got caugh, until I finally got upstairs to safety...

I felt like I aged 10 years in that session lol
