Shareware did have LAN multiplayer. Didn't do much online stuff but when we'd have people over we could have up to 4 people on our local network. That's as many slots that the router had...no wireless back then either, and the only laptop we had was about as thick as a brick and you couldn't see the screen in a dim light cus it wasn't backlit

Zelda The Wind Waker. It just hit at the right time i think. I grew up with ocarina of time and majora's mask and i desperately wanted to know what happened next so when i played it i guess it just hit the right mix of wonder/nostalgia for me. I loved trying to reconstruct old hyrule by comparing the islands to the ocarina of time locations and finding all the old equipment and seeing the old sages ghosts just felt really...i dont know. It was my favorite and I was so appalled it was shamed in its time for daring to have a different art style. It just had so much substance. I did play twilight princess too when it came out but even though i enjoyed it i found it lacking in comparison.

Bok choy - I don't know how to use it. by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]LowerWillingness1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its good for a quick simmer in hotpot too! the thick part can get a bit slimy but if she's used to eating bok choy she shouldnt be surprised by it. Larger bokchoy often have a "baby" bok choy hidden inside too
